Android always wins. iPhone is just the latest fashion trend, that's why everyone owns and iPhone, and who owns iPhones? It's mostly the ones that don't know anything about technology, and I've noticed that Android is mostly owned by people who are interested in technology and that know how to use a computer and other technology. The only way around it is to visit the youtube site itself which uses (yep, you guessed it!) flash! The limitations of iOS go way beyond flash, how about apps? Any dev who wishes to have their app run on ios has to have apple approve of it first. That doesn't sound very fair, controlling how you use your own hardware lmao.

iPhone wins on battery, but you cannot remove it. If it leaks your phone goes to the trashbin, and btw removable batteries take atleast 25% more space which forces them to be less powerful to fit in. The price is missleading, in my country the Desire (Nexus' twin) is 500$ unlocked and the iPhone 4 is 800$ with a contract.
@ton4y Sorry you are wrong. There are two screws on the bottem of the iPhone 4. You take those out slide the back off and you can pop out the battery from there. Takes under 5 mins easily.

I like the iPhone4 but not having text to speech on the keyboard might be a deal breaker for me. is there and app for that?

I have a Nexus One, and the Nexus S isn't 'much more powerful'. The only significant upgrade to the S in my eyes is it's front facing camera. The Nexus One has more talk time with it's standard battery than the 2, and I loaded up apps side by side with a cleared cache, and most of the apps opened at the same time. Significant enough to pay extra money for the Nexus S 'upgrade'? Of course not.
I'll keep my LED trackball and better battery life thank you.

The only way around it is to visit the youtube site itself which uses (yep, you guessed it!) flash! The limitations of iOS go way beyond flash, how about apps? Any dev who wishes to have their app run on ios has to have apple approve of it first. That doesn't sound very fair, controlling how you use your own hardware lmao.

@Softmod yes, controlling the app store so that it is not filled with: porn, insecurity, and illegal things. Anyways 90% of the apps get approved within a week. And there is a mobile version of the youtube website, which is not an application and can not be blocked. And youtube is already switching tho HTML 5. Half the internet is powered by flash objects, at least I have the ability to choose whether or not I can use it as opposed to being steven jobs's bitch who dictates what I can or can't do with my own phone, lmao.

iPhone wins on battery, but you cannot remove it. If it leaks your phone goes to the trashbin, and btw removable batteries take atleast 25% more space which forces them to be less powerful to fit in. The price is missleading, in my country the Desire (Nexus' twin) is 500$ unlocked and the iPhone 4 is 800$ with a contract.

@ton4y Sorry you are wrong. There are two screws on the bottem of the iPhone 4. You take those out slide the back off and you can pop out the battery from there. Takes under 5 mins easily.

My wife and I are thinking about iPhone after our contract is up in September, we have old 3g my touches slow and clunky like the android opriting system but our phones are so slow. 2.0 upgrade has been a crushing weight for my phone to carry. I like the iPhone4 but not having text to speech on the keyboard might be a deal breaker for me. is there and app for that?
Even with the slowness of my G3 phone I love the text to speech feature and use it often.

I have a Nexus One, and the Nexus S isn't 'much more powerful'. The only significant upgrade to the S in my eyes is it's front facing camera. The Nexus One has more talk time with it's standard battery than the 2, and I loaded up apps side by side with a cleared cache, and most of the apps opened at the same time. Significant enough to pay extra money for the Nexus S 'upgrade'? Of course not.
I'll keep my LED trackball and better battery life thank you.
