@MrPparrish No. Not debunked "to hell" or anywhere else for that matter. Red Sate has one section where there isn't dialog or gunshots superimposed over the trumpet sounds and the sound isn't the same, only similar. What's more, there isn't one repeated sound in the Kiev video, but a succession of sounds. The WOTW sound is also different. Many, many, many witnesses have been interviewed or have posted comments in the past year saying they've heard very similar sounds to Kiev.
@glennirish Hoax videos exist, you may have heard some, but many of them definitely don't have exactly the same sounds, just similar ones. The whole phenomenon is no hoax, but the explanation is very unclear. May be very ordinary, may be caused by govt. technology, etc.

Let me refute just one of the ideas for you. This silly sky-bridge idea. High energy protons are quickly absorbed by atmosphere. They cannot make it into space unless you are located in the polar regions where proton rigidity is low enough. They are guided by magnetic field lines, but the higher the proton energy, the less they are guided. The lower the energy, the faster they are absorbed. This fact alone makes the idea you quote completely untenable. They have NO CLUE what they are saying!
If you shot a proton into the sky with sufficient energy to break through the atmosphere (assuming it even made it without colliding with another atmospheric particle and decaying), it's energy would be high enough that the Earth's magnetic field would be incapable of redirecting it back to the Earth. It would travel into (and through) space forever on a trajectory away from the Earth.
HAARP is UTTERLY INCAPABLE of producing audible noise. HAARP transmits HF radio signals at frequencies in the tens of millions of hertz. ELF (extremely low frequency) waves that these idiots claim to have effects on the Earth are utter rubbish. HAARP's signals can be modulated by the ionosphere to ELF frequencies, but are 11 MILLION TIMES WEAKER than the normal background ELF fields that the Earth normally produces. HAARP DOES NOT CREATE OR CHANGE WEATHER. If that were possible...
... normal AM and FM radio transmissions would be changing the weather as well. The radio signals HAARP generates are ABSORBED by the ionosphere, which is 90 to 300 kilometers HIGHER than the troposphere where weather processes occur. The heating that it produces dissipates (disappears) within 3 to 10 minutes. The UTTERLY STUPID CLAIMS that uneducated bozo's proclaim are based on such a fractured reality that they must be popping regular psychotropic drugs to believe it! DON'T LISTEN TO THEM!
Finally, and I apologize for going on. When I say "sounds", I use the word cautiously. Yes, there was a definite, audible, low pitched drone. But at the same time, it was accompanied by a feeling of ambient energy, which is much harder to describe. Think of that feeling / sound you momentarily feel when a TV is switched on, magnified and lasting a lot longer. Probably the best way to describe it.
So in my case, the first explanation in this video would make most sense. Though I'm not saying I personally agree with it. I'd also mention that there were no roads, train stations etc. nearby - not even close, nor would overhead aircraft would cause such a continuous and lengthy drone of sound. Finally, the sound couldn't be pinpointed. It was just "there". Seemingly coming from the sky and the ground, and despite its subtlety, it was overwhelming if you closed your eyes and really listened.
I like to think I'm of a (reasonably) sound mental state, and I can also attest to hearing these 'sounds', even as far back as a few years ago. I lived in a small, fairly remote village in Scotland, which was surrounded by forests, and I'd often hear a rather ominous, low pitched humming which seemed to last for an hour or so, before fading. Furthermore, this always seemed to happen at night / late evening. I liked to imagine it was just the buzz of nature, as opposed to the Apocalyptic stuff.
Ok, that was fun. I listened to the virginia quake video. That was air blowing through a pvc pipe. Most of the other videos that I listened to were out-takes from The War of the Worlds movie, slowed down a touch, and played over a bass speaker. One that I listened to was a piano, someone playing with the bass strings. None of these sounded like trumpets, but one did sound like a horn, but with more bass than a trumpet. I will keep looking into this. I will listen to coasttocoast tonight.

Sound isn't fake, I've herd it a couple times last week. Thought it was a train, but looked at a map online and the train track isn't near my home. I didn't think anything of it since I always lack sleep. Then today some coworkers spoke of some videos on here about sounds that are being herd around the world, I herd one of the videos from her phone and was totally freaked out by it. Now that I'm home I've been stuck at my computer trying to figure out what it is.

In many of the videos from different parts of the world, it's the EXACT same sound. Not similar, but EXACT pattern, pitch and length, which is impossible in nature. I believe the one story in North Battleford Canada may have been legit, as something unusual happening, but very explainable. But before the cause can be understood, hundreds jump on the idea with hoax videos, creating the impression of a global phenomenon, when there is not one.

U left out the explanation that it could be resonance from the earths inner core due to a weakened magnetic field or the earths core rotating faster then the earth creating a scenario where the poles shift, this many scientists belive has happened every 3.600 years or there abouts and we are approching that mark, could it be that these in fact are warning signs of this coming event, this would never be publicly announced. I really believe that our Earth's magnetic field is rubbing with the magnetic field of a massive celestial body that is getting closer to create these sounds. And since you mentioned that earthquakes were associated, it also makes sense because a disturbance in the magnetic field (like an earth directed CME) results in an earthquake.

Hi I just wanted to chip in and say that I heard a rumour that it was to do with solar flares and positive electrons interacting with the Earth's magnetic field. Apparently there has been alot of solar activity recently. Maybe someone knows if there was major solar activity back in the nineties to ex-plane the humming. Its not the end of the world so don't worry. We've got a few months yet ;-)

Watch some of the documentaries about HAARP such as Angels don't play this HAARP 1 and 2 as well as the HAARP episode on conspiracy theory with Jessie Ventura that explain it. Just thought; as the Earths magnetic field destabilizes, as it always does prior to the (now overdue) pole flip, and as we are at a time in the Suns cycle of increasing energy and solar flare activity - we could be hearing the effect of charged particle streams, resonating the ionosphere (as can HAARP) around localised, and shifting area's of magnetic instability. Which would also explain why the UK have been recently treated to the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).

Oil is the worlds lubrication and we are now pumping out so much that the moving plates are not getting enough lube which would explain vibrations and all the earthquakes. The Russians did state that oil is the worlds lubricant. The result could be massive earthquakes and destruction.
@LoveLifeBeHappy2012 If the strange sounds are true, then I think yours is the most likely reason...for years I have speculated that it is a wonder that the earth hasn't deflated from the excessive extraction of oil...! it just might be the sound of the earth deflating and the grinding of rock plates against each other because of the decreasing oil content.

sadly, this has been debunked to hell...they are hoaxes. if you notice, none of the videos were posted before sept. 2011 that is because the movie red state was released on that date. the sounds on peoples videos are from that movie and the old movie war of the worlds. just search youtube for red state trumpet scene...sorry

@MrPparrish No. Not debunked "to hell" or anywhere else for that matter. Red Sate has one section where there isn't dialog or gunshots superimposed over the trumpet sounds and the sound isn't the same, only similar. What's more, there isn't one repeated sound in the Kiev video, but a succession of sounds. The WOTW sound is also different. Many, many, many witnesses have been interviewed or have posted comments in the past year saying they've heard very similar sounds to Kiev.

@glennirish Hoax videos exist, you may have heard some, but many of them definitely don't have exactly the same sounds, just similar ones. The whole phenomenon is no hoax, but the explanation is very unclear. May be very ordinary, may be caused by govt. technology, etc.

Let me refute just one of the ideas for you. This silly sky-bridge idea. High energy protons are quickly absorbed by atmosphere. They cannot make it into space unless you are located in the polar regions where proton rigidity is low enough. They are guided by magnetic field lines, but the higher the proton energy, the less they are guided. The lower the energy, the faster they are absorbed. This fact alone makes the idea you quote completely untenable. They have NO CLUE what they are saying!

If you shot a proton into the sky with sufficient energy to break through the atmosphere (assuming it even made it without colliding with another atmospheric particle and decaying), it's energy would be high enough that the Earth's magnetic field would be incapable of redirecting it back to the Earth. It would travel into (and through) space forever on a trajectory away from the Earth.

Finally, and I apologize for going on. When I say "sounds", I use the word cautiously. Yes, there was a definite, audible, low pitched drone. But at the same time, it was accompanied by a feeling of ambient energy, which is much harder to describe. Think of that feeling / sound you momentarily feel when a TV is switched on, magnified and lasting a lot longer. Probably the best way to describe it.

So in my case, the first explanation in this video would make most sense. Though I'm not saying I personally agree with it. I'd also mention that there were no roads, train stations etc. nearby - not even close, nor would overhead aircraft would cause such a continuous and lengthy drone of sound. Finally, the sound couldn't be pinpointed. It was just "there". Seemingly coming from the sky and the ground, and despite its subtlety, it was overwhelming if you closed your eyes and really listened.

I like to think I'm of a (reasonably) sound mental state, and I can also attest to hearing these 'sounds', even as far back as a few years ago. I lived in a small, fairly remote village in Scotland, which was surrounded by forests, and I'd often hear a rather ominous, low pitched humming which seemed to last for an hour or so, before fading. Furthermore, this always seemed to happen at night / late evening. I liked to imagine it was just the buzz of nature, as opposed to the Apocalyptic stuff.

Ok, that was fun. I listened to the virginia quake video. That was air blowing through a pvc pipe. Most of the other videos that I listened to were out-takes from The War of the Worlds movie, slowed down a touch, and played over a bass speaker. One that I listened to was a piano, someone playing with the bass strings. None of these sounded like trumpets, but one did sound like a horn, but with more bass than a trumpet. I will keep looking into this. I will listen to coasttocoast tonight.

Sound isn't fake, I've herd it a couple times last week. Thought it was a train, but looked at a map online and the train track isn't near my home. I didn't think anything of it since I always lack sleep. Then today some coworkers spoke of some videos on here about sounds that are being herd around the world, I herd one of the videos from her phone and was totally freaked out by it. Now that I'm home I've been stuck at my computer trying to figure out what it is.

In many of the videos from different parts of the world, it's the EXACT same sound. Not similar, but EXACT pattern, pitch and length, which is impossible in nature. I believe the one story in North Battleford Canada may have been legit, as something unusual happening, but very explainable. But before the cause can be understood, hundreds jump on the idea with hoax videos, creating the impression of a global phenomenon, when there is not one.

U left out the explanation that it could be resonance from the earths inner core due to a weakened magnetic field or the earths core rotating faster then the earth creating a scenario where the poles shift, this many scientists belive has happened every 3.600 years or there abouts and we are approching that mark, could it be that these in fact are warning signs of this coming event, this would never be publicly announced. I really believe that our Earth's magnetic field is rubbing with the magnetic field of a massive celestial body that is getting closer to create these sounds. And since you mentioned that earthquakes were associated, it also makes sense because a disturbance in the magnetic field (like an earth directed CME) results in an earthquake.

Hi I just wanted to chip in and say that I heard a rumour that it was to do with solar flares and positive electrons interacting with the Earth's magnetic field. Apparently there has been alot of solar activity recently. Maybe someone knows if there was major solar activity back in the nineties to ex-plane the humming. SECOND: As to being horns of Bible. There r some issues here. 1. nowhere does it say in Rev. that the earth will hear the trumpets. 2. EVERYTHING in Rev. is "presented in signs" - not to be taken literal. 3. these videos present more than 7 trumpet sounds. Only 7 are mentioned in Revelations. 4. the trumpets in Rev. are followed each by very specific events - which are not following THESE sounds. 5. consider all the afore mentioned and then please read 1 Cor. 14:8-9. These so called "explanations" have nothing to do with science ( I mean, SCIENCE). It is pure intoxication for persons having no idea about the phisycal principles. Watch some of the documentaries about HAARP such as Angels don't play this HAARP 1 and 2 as well as the HAARP episode on conspiracy theory with Jessie Ventura that explain it. HAARP can cause people to hear things, feal different emotions, change weather, and cause earthquakes. And that's just those things that they know of. No telling what it can do that we don't know about. The manipulation of sound waves at any frequency pulsed at 3 billion volts is messing with the very life of the planet.

Another thought - a lot of it seems to have started around the time that the LHC (Large Hadron Collider - Wiki: "On 30 March 2010, the first collisions took place between two 3.5 TeV beams, setting the current world record.."). So could it have something to do with interaction or even damage to one of our many parallel dimensions? *They* say the LHC is safe - but *they* don't really know for certain, and *they* are getting paid a lot of money to keep the thing going! Just a thought!

Just thought; as the Earths magnetic field destabilizes, as it always does prior to the (now overdue) pole flip, and as we are at a time in the Suns cycle of increasing energy and solar flare activity - we could be hearing the effect of charged particle streams, resonating the ionosphere (as can HAARP) around localised, and shifting area's of magnetic instability. Which would also explain why the UK have been recently treated to the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).

Oil is the worlds lubrication and we are now pumping out so much that the moving plates are not getting enough lube which would explain vibrations and all the earthquakes. The Russians did state that oil is the worlds lubricant. The result could be massive earthquakes and destruction.
