If you're in the UK, yeah, that's what they did. 3 VHS' in a box (or separate) with a little "Cyberpunk Collection" image thing which comes together on the spines when the videos are stacked. Each show was also available on separate VHS' with one episode on each, but the Cyberpunk Collection had the whole series of each, all together.
thanks for the update, perhaps my "local video store" will place an order to the UK. since manga has been releasing alot of its classics on dvd in a new edition, they may have these rereleased.
AD Police (the weakest one, sadly) has been released on DVD, but we're all still waiting on Cyber City and GenoCyber. GenoCyber (my favourite!) exists on a fantastic DVD in the US, which is also Region Free, I'm after a copy of that myself. Cyber City also has a US DVD but unfortunately features a different dub without the obscenities, and the embarassing Japanese music instead of the kickass UK music.
how strange that there would be so many variations around these titles and their respective regions. what advertisers and editors do sometimes is a crime in itself. Need we not mention the new Akira release with the uber harsh dubbing in comparison to the original from the mid 90s. But if genocyber and cyber city are on DVD in NA, im on it.

Would you say that Rocky is a baseball film, in the sense that it deals with sport? It would make more sense to accuse it of "being" kiddieporn, because of the few sec's of humiliation at 15:30, part 1. The 10-13 sec of the kids being shredded by the minigun is in the beginning of part 2, 48 minutes into the OAV, not the first 5. Genocyber is, at most, 20% splatter. The rest of it is mainly talk, mecha action. There's a lot more to it than just eyeballs and guts. Analbead.

Did you know SciFI is now showing anime? Late Monday nights. They premiered last week with Ghost in The Shell: Solid State Society. Very cool but short series.
The thing is .. I live in canada and my digital cable provider doesn't offer the SciFi channel.. although do have the "Space Channel" but they don't show anime.. and then again I do have Anime On Demand and the great internet at my grasp.
Oh man...That is a bummer. I hope Anime on Demand gets good stuff regularly. SciFi wasn't bad but I hope they get more new anime and stay away from the old stuff they showed years ago. As for Cyberpunk, I have always loved it. Been a fan since Bladerunner came out when I was in grade school. Steampunk is okay but I definately am a Cyberpunk fan!

What didn't you like about GenoCyber? It's somewhat hit-or-miss, but when it hits, it hits hard.
And MD Geist wasn't THAT bad. It's a decent little 80s action movie, nothing more, nothing less.
