I need tutorials for begginer in maya!

  • greatvideo!!! great animation!!!

reminds me of the game METAL GEAR 4

    ur talented man.. keep going

  • lol at the beginning!

    i like mgs4 camera effects;)

  • how long did it take you do finish this?

  • If I remember correctly, I was working on this for about 12-16 hours a week for 4 weeks from concepting to the final video. I was really new to Maya at the time.

  • not bad im working about 12-16 hours per days on 3D projects

  • it's a bit 'stiff'.

if you have done it in 3ds max, you might have done better...

    it was eXcellent anyWay...

  • lol, the sequence is total MGS4 trailer rip off. but its cool no doubt.

  • Very good job with the cameras. Since this is old how about a another? Maybe something like this but with one guy taking out a guard post?? Im currently dipping my feet in the 3d world I would like to do stuff like this.

  • i enjoyed that - and it doesn't matter the soldiers were gliding really if the whole assesment was on camera work.

well done dude - enjoyed it =]

  • Thanks for all the responses. Yeah I did this over a year ago, back when I first started learning Maya and the world of CGI. I definitely plan on doing more stuff like this and hope to upload more in the future.

  • like the camera work but hate that the soldiers are gliding instead of walking

  • nice work with all the hand-camera work in 3d! reminds me a little of the metal gear old snake trailers. for a realistic hand-camera look you could shoot some footage with a real camera off a tripod, perform in 2d3 boujou a 3D track and import it into maya or 3dsmax, even after effects :) keep it up! oh and yes, last song is "song 2" by blur.

  • Nice, I like the camera work! Did you build a rig f;r the camera?

  • The clip is very cinematographic, very good. If camera is only keyframe posing, who did this did a GREAT job. Congrats.

  • Amazing work!

  • cool vid.

btw, that last song is Song2 by Blur

  • nice, next time make the soldiers walk, I know it's hard ;)
