Hi Mark, I followed the steps in your "Intro to FInal Cut Express video editing Part 1 - workflow and transcoding" in regards to transcoding a file.
I have some .mp4 footage from my iphone. However after transcoding the files (2), I still get a red bar in FCE 4.0.
Any suggestions. thanks

How come, when I import a video and try to play it, the audio is all static and makes a weird beeping noise? It's a MPEG-4 movie. Is that compatible.
