Actually, as I'm going through the old show, I believe short of the Voltron Formation sequence, Voltron Force wins the animation fight. Forming Voltron though...that needed to be epic and it doesn't reach the heights of the old show.

1) I'd recommend going to a bookstore for books on animation in the TV/filmmaking section or at least do a google search and learn about the 12 principles of animation.

2) Check the expiration date of your nostalgia goggles.

Finally, someone figures out the perfect strategy. I always wondered why they let Voltron form lile that.

It was tried. When Voltron formed for the first time in the classic show, he was "denied" twice before they managed to get far enough away to form. When a Robeast tried the other time, he was repulsed by an energy field that almost fried him (I think it did more damage than Voltron does short of Blazing Sword work)

But this is VF Voltron, or as I'm coming to think of him, Wussitron. I'm surprised a stiff wind doesn't knock him over.
