It amazes me the sheer volume of land that was covered...and in only 10 years!!!! It shows how well the program was organized, and I found it interesting that almost every program put in place had some sort of follow up committee to make sure it was being done correctly. Truly shows that the word impossible doesn't exist in science!

@ssawyer9 I agree completely! It's amazing how humble he is about it too. It's sad to me that the general public has no idea how much effort went into the eradication program. Definitely an unsung hero!
