They voluntered, they wanted to perform. Actually they were OK on a "one" practice that I saw, but they just performed awful. You might want to blame that when they practice, it's usually missing one or two member, and the result is the video. If there is a lesson to learn from these for new bands, there are plenty. The best lesson is make sure there is no camera! Lol!
