the bolts on the upper coolant hose that connects to the head had snap off for the third time right there and sprayd coolant all over my engine and clutch while climbing a steep hill,,, thats why :)

Well why do the bolts keep snapping i have the same engine with 6500kms on it and all my hoses are clamped and nothing breaks. and ya mine has seen 200ft launches

There's a service bulletin for all Dragon 800 from -09.

Pistons & cylinder head have to be replaced. If you haven't been contacted, then maybe you should contact your reseller and make sure they have your number so they can call you.

They should also upgrade the software to -10 and if you have a mountain sled you should probably take the offer to replace the muffler (if you have stock) since it isn't made for the altitudes in Sweden.

I have a Ski-Doo Summit X 800r, and I didn't

have any problems at all with the engine last season, it's crazy good.

DON'T buy the Polaris Assault, there you have a peice of shit :p They dies about after 600km driving

well ofc you havent had problems with your SP, it's 4-stroke. but that's more weight too

hmm. SP dragon does have 4-stroke.

But all i know about the assault is that 2 of my buddies had it, both of those snowmobiles doesnt work as they should even after many repairs. and both have had problems with the front shockers are leaking

The 800 dragon sp has the exact same motor as the assault! exact! 800 cc motor same hp EVERYTHING! if the sp is 4 stroke then the assault is to! and it's not! I have had no troubles with my dragon at all!

The 800 SP is a two sylinder twostroke 154 hp engine. So far i know Polaris has a 750cc two sylinder fourstroke engine with 130 hp.
