That's the '84 Warner Bros. Pictures logo (w/Warner Communications byline) in the movie trailer. The '92 one (w/Time Warner Entertainment byline) was supposed to be shown.
@barber747 Warner Bros. has changed a lot over the years, and for the majority of those years, their "WB Shield" logo was their trademark. But, between 1972 and 1984, they used an abstract "W" for their logo. I think they still use it today for the music and book categories.
So this is what it's like without iPod, iPad, and iPhone commercials.
