Anyone can look like that? I think that's another slight(massive)exaggeration. I think what you're trying to say is everyone looks better with some airbrushing. I'm pretty sure 95% of all girls cannot look like Amber no matter how much you airbrush them.

It's true that models get a lot of airbrushing - I've modelled swimwear and make-up, and that 'polished wax' flawless look is achieved by airbrushing. Apart from the occasional pimple I do have clear skin; it's just that in real life, it doesn't look like it does in the pictures - like a surface that has been buffed to reflect light.

haha no, i don't, ofcourse i understand that the photos are retouched. and that is pretty sick, a model can look nearly perfect on a photo, but be really ugly in real, scary:S

shes cute but in pictures she looks really pretty because first of all models key aspect is that they are photogenic...so are celebrities..they look better in photos than in real life...next of all airbrushing...There is this girl in my class, that if you saw her you'd think shes cute maybe pretty but her pictures are gorgeous.

Agreed. Most people wouldn't recognize most print models on the street without make-up, the right lighting, etc. I've shown new friends & co-workers my pictures before and have had them tell me that it "isn't me" because I don't show up to school/work everyday with 2 hrs worth of hair & make-up.
