Great video. The only thing I'd do different is add other photos of mankind's view of god throughout history (and pre-history). There are a lot of symbols, and man's view of god changes over time, just like your fish footage. God images also change drastically from culture to culture. It would be great to see more of a spread.

@cajhne This is 2 and a half years old but thanks anyway ;). I would of perhaps had more variety but at the time I thought focusing more on his struggle specifically and the reasons behind it is what mattered the most. After all the video was mean't to be more or less visual lyrics and that was the angle I went with at the time.

You really portrayed the deep meaning of the song. It's about searching god,understanding the meaning of life and it's origins. Black and Gold is the color of the night sky which the first members of man kind looked up to in order to find God. It expresses fear that their might be no meaning in life at all as it might be just a bunch of matter. It expresses hope that their is something else beyond the star and beyond our vision. It's a really deep spiritual song. Thank God for Evolution!

wow this video really put into perspective what sam sparro was really singing about. it shows his view and oppinion on what religion is really about and it compares god and science and how hes confused about life itself.
