  • Awesome quilt video. I can do this. Thanks a whole lot.

  • you are amazingly insperational ! I am using this in my fashion degree ! much love from New Zealand !!!! xoxoxoxox

  • @ATAW3RA Thanks!! Good luck to you in getting your degree!! :) Have a great week!

  • Is it okay then to make the top borders a different width to the bottom borders. Same fabric for the borders but two different widths?

    Thanks

  • @ruthoppenheim Sure!! I have seen a lot of quilts like that!! If it looks good to you, I say go with it! If you don't like it, change it!! :) Have fun with it! Your quilt, is yours! Enjoy the process and have fun.

  • Do your borders have to be all the same width? I don't want the baby quilt I'm making to be too wide.

    Thanks. Love your videos!

  • @ruthoppenheim It's up to you! I think it's a preference thing. have fun with it, and good luck!

  • i have a few questions:

    1. do you have to put a border on?

    2. do you have to make a quilt, or can you use the top layer as just a thin blanket?

  • @IveBeenReborn1234 Hi there. :) No you don't have to add a border! Some people do, (to make your quilt bigger, or to frame it in) but it is a preference thing! if you don't want to make it into a quilt you surely don't have to. It won't be very sturdy and won't hold up to much wear, but you should always feel free to be creative and make what pleases you and what serves the purpose you intend!! Thanks for the questions! Good luck in your quilting adventure!! Have a great day!

  • @SarahMSQC thankyou! ive decided to add a thin fleecing as the underlayer :)
