i find this band to be the funniest band on the planet ,,, any one that actually would wear wings and state they were from angelic stalk has got to be joking ,,, punky medows is such a weirdo , and he wears to much make up
@purplepoison419 you are a jerkoff i saw this band several times and they rocked you were probably watching some garage band cause you couldnt afford the tickets
Just happened to bump into this song searching "winter song" and am pleasantly surprised. Never heard of this group but the sound of their voices is just amazing. So calm and beautiful.
There sure isn't "music" anymore like we had growing up-late 60's, 70's, 80's. These guys had everything: great music, great looks(for us girls!), the whole thing! I can listen to them all the time-love 'em!
Have you ever followed the sound of bells chiming in the distance on a cold, frosty night? This is basically how I found this song. One winter day this music was playing, echoing so beautifully, sounding ethereal , leading me right to the record store where I immediately bought this album. The store had been there for years and I'd never given it a second look before then. lol
Always amazes me that this song ( prob their biggest) sounds for the most part , nothing like ANGEL!... Kinda like Bungle in the Jungle ( Jethro Tull)...totally unrepresentative of their greater body of work. for better or worse..i'll let you be the judge...
keyboard player greg guiffria now part-owner/vip several casino const. jobs in gulf port/las vegas, (way to go greg!) back stage party at superjam, busch stadium 1978 was a concert moment at its finest
Yes I remember watching my neighbors roof shingle fly off in the blizzard of 78 Boston 105 MPH winds zero visibility and stoned out of the universe...damn!
OMG my mom listened to this band as a small kid, along with her older sister..she said back in the winter of 1977 the snow was so bad they were indoors for over a week and her my Aunt and her would play this song over and over by candlelight singing! =]]
@LustingSvenska I had forgotten about this song and this album , it sure is nice to awaken a lost memory Seen these guys live back in the day, years before this album came out, A GREAT SHOW!! K.J.F.
also not the original keyboardist. The only two original members are Frank Dimino (vocals) and Barry Brandt (drums). Dimino's vocals help define the Angel sound, but it's hard to call any band Angel, musically, without Punky and Greg.

from what I've heard, it's very hard to find a good Angel song. Most, like this one, are very mediocre.

@Vaekkrinhart That's because they didn't have ANY, only a mediocre stage show..

For all the Angel fans: Did you know that Angel is spelled the same way backwards as forwards?
I saw them in Louisville many years ago ... really nice to find their music again!

@michelannejones I seen them to back in the 70's. Not backwards fool.. you could turn the album covers upside down and the same.....
