@pinkcb71997 well what year are you in? I would first go to a riding school, ask your PE teacher for the set criteria to include in a video. So yeah, you need a video of yourself horse riding and has to be within two years of the actual start of exams...I think anyway, then you also need a letter from your coach/instructor with his/her thought of grade of you 1-10, 10 being best, and also his/her qualifications. But or else check on the Edexcel website, I'm sure it should tell you (:

@sophieaw97 You need to take P.E as a subject then you can take horse riding as a sport and you can be asested ( cant spell sorry ) x) in it as a chosen sport.

Working him round seems to make him engage a bit better in the hocks, keep him as round as you can coming up to jumps, because I think the reason he's not tucking up is because he's flat.

I would suggest some trotting poles , both flat and raised.

Does your horse have any problems with his back legs? He looks very stiff in his back end - notice how he doesn't tuck his hocks up? It just seems that his back legs are more behind him than underneath him...

No offense intended at all, the riding was lovely, and the horse seems like a well behaved, willing boy.

well you cant still just use horse riding, you have to use other sports aswell, and the theory is ok, but the questions they ask you are very weirdly phrased. i did it, i did horse riding (got full marks a* :) ) and i regret taking it! i just finsished pe forever on thursday :D

It depends what exam board your with. Like AQA or OCR and stuff like that. If you speak to your teacher, they should have a book with a criteria of what you have to do. Different examining bodies have different criteria. Its not too hard though and you dont have to jump huge. If you can already ride, its pretty basic...Mine was anyway :) Good Luck with your exams, i wish i could go back to school...it was so much easier!! hehe

No, i didnt do either if them. i did GCSE Sport Science the exam board was AQA

If thats what you have to take to do horse riding, then go for it. But dont only do PE because u want to do horse riding. I had to choose 3 other sports to do aswell. Your probably better of speaking to your pe teacher :) xx Good Luck xx Keep me posted

If you do GCSE PE. About 60% of the GCSE is the practical aspect of it. For this you are graded on 4 sports, one of which can be horse riding! For the regular rider it's very easy to get full marks, I would bet my left arm that simonsponygirl did! I did too, even though I fell off. Haha it was really funny lol

ive just completed my A Level PE assesment, thats out of 30, i dont know about GCSE tho... its good tht you have stills in there... i didnt with mine and regretted it a bit, but at A Level you have to do a 10 fence course, fillers and watever, so iwasnt allowed to peice together bits liek you did... just to warn you anyway :) xxx

Basically a grade you leave with after leaving school. In this case, its for P.E (sport) and for her GCSE i'm guessing Grace had to chose a sport (in this case horse riding) and had to make a video on it.
