this just reminded me how much of a hockey freak i was back then. i knew everything about every goddamn team in the league. now i only watch and keep updated on the NYR, keep an eye on the division, some on the eastern conference, but really only when it gets close to playoff time, and for all i know the western conference could be playing on mars.

This game was 50x better than the previous game I don't think there has been such a drastic improvement between any NHL game and its predecessor like this one was although I kept filling my hometown Canucks with superstars although I'm sure everyone did that

On my copy of this game...after it said "EA Sports Presents, NHL 98" You would hear it say "8"......."8"......Oh well brought back memories NHL on EA rocks.
