ummwell not really since what you do is you get once fired brass and you buy sierra bullets 690 grain bullets in bulk and it becomes inexpensive, however, i would bet my reloads are worth around 900$ worth!
Its really not that hard once you get used to it however, the reloading machine that i have is fully automatic so it basically does everything itself! I would personally recommend a Hornady LNL with 50 BMG dyes specifically for beginners because manual is always easier than automatic. and besides, youre not using 50 bmg for what im using them for. i produce them like they are .223. and trust me because of the price you're gonna want to take your time a shots carefully!
Yes yes, I'm well aware of the metric system. However all shooting I've ever done has been in yards, not meters, for the simple fact that it makes working with minute of angle much easier. 1MOA = ~1inch @ 100 yards. That doesn't work out quite the same for meters.
Maybe it would be better if the US used metric, but we don't and I'm too old to change now.

Thought that might be what you are getting at. Not shooting at the cars. At about 600yds is the edge of the bluffs. The bluffs are lined with huge rocks that explode when hit with a .50 You can't really see it in the vid because it was taken w a camera phone so it's crappy quality.
Ar-50 has a slow push but no real kick to speak of. It's heavy (over 40lbs) and has a well designed muzzle brake. Less snappy than a 9mm rifle but about the same shoulder pressure.
Yea the weight is around 35 W/O scope and bipod but with a scope and bipod it is around 40-45lbs. And also arty if a .50 cal was 22 lbs do u kno how much that would kick unless there was a hella good recoil obsorber(if you didnt know alot of recoil is based on weight). you can check the armalite website for proof.
Yea the AR-50 has a "push" more then a kick. 12 guage in my opinion is like no kick but if you compared to how much the 12 guage kicks to how much the AR-50 "pushes" the AR-50 would by far win. But that doesnt mean the AR-50 hurts, you dont feel it much but it does move you back pritty far if your laying prone. Soooo go out and buy an AR-50 and feel the sensation for yourself!!
It's hard to tell in the video but, we were tsking out big rocks on the side of the hill. There are huge chunks of shale rock that just disintegrate when they are met with a .50.
The gun weighs over 40lbs. The recoil doesn't have anything to do with it. The ar-50 has a very effective V shaped muzzle brake that directs gasses rearward when it is fired. The coke in the video is getting hit by blast of gas from the muzzle brake.

fyi: the marines (and ALL OTHER SERVICES) don't use the as50 or issue it.
the m107 is what we get assuming the m82a1s are all turned in.
this as50 was initially purchased from a licensed gun dealer at some point in time and if you can provide the serial # i can tell you when and where.
i'll put it in a pm so it doesn't go out over the web.
i don't believe your story about eliminating enemy personnel while taking a crap.
maybe you can tell someone else about it.

I cant post the website but bighammer .50 faq posted that the ball ammo will only do 4.50 miles. Guess what, thats only .25 miles off of what I said. 2.50 miles off of your statement. NO .50 BMG WILL GO 7 MILES. FUCKING PHYSICAL IMPOSSIBILITY. yea uou are going to have to wait till the fear of obama subsides, because ar-15s and any varient of tactical rifles are selling like hot cakes, right now i am satisfied with my mauser and looking for a 17hmr plinking gun for simulated practice, but yea i always wanted a 50 but ammo is so expensive and i wouldnt have anywhere to shoot it because most ranges ban it, however i would stock one. If i were you, forget the colt and build a make up with the best of each company.

The reason that woman could shoot the Armalite AR-50 so easily is because it weighs 34lbs and has one of the most effective muzzle breaks of all time, take that break off and itll fuck your day up if you shot it. An 800gr round that has almost 15,000 ft lbs of force most certainly hits harder than a 4 bore. fireball676 was a little off, a .50 round can go about 4.25 miles max, effective range is rated at 2023 yards but, a Canadian sniper dropped a taliban sniper at over 2600 yards.

Thought that might be what you are getting at. Not shooting at the cars. At about 600yds is the edge of the bluffs. The bluffs are lined with huge rocks that explode when hit with a .50 You can't really see it in the vid because it was taken w a camera phone so it's crappy quality.

Ar-50 has a slow push but no real kick to speak of. It's heavy (over 40lbs) and has a well designed muzzle brake. Less snappy than a 9mm rifle but about the same shoulder pressure.

Yea the weight is around 35 W/O scope and bipod but with a scope and bipod it is around 40-45lbs. And also arty if a .50 cal was 22 lbs do u kno how much that would kick unless there was a hella good recoil obsorber(if you didnt know alot of recoil is based on weight). you can check the armalite website for proof.

Yea the AR-50 has a "push" more then a kick. 12 guage in my opinion is like no kick but if you compared to how much the 12 guage kicks to how much the AR-50 "pushes" the AR-50 would by far win. But that doesnt mean the AR-50 hurts, you dont feel it much but it does move you back pritty far if your laying prone. Soooo go out and buy an AR-50 and feel the sensation for yourself!!

It's hard to tell in the video but, we were tsking out big rocks on the side of the hill. There are huge chunks of shale rock that just disintegrate when they are met with a .50.

The gun weighs over 40lbs. The recoil doesn't have anything to do with it. The ar-50 has a very effective V shaped muzzle brake that directs gasses rearward when it is fired. The coke in the video is getting hit by blast of gas from the muzzle brake.
Rookies? That range you see is privete property just out my back door.... we've done this a couple of times.

i love my guns... im working on getting my russian scope and mount fitted to my mosin nagant M44, for $100, its a VERY accurate rifle!! penetrates 1/4" steel plate at 200yrds!! steel core FMJ.. cheap ammo too!! hey if you really want a nice reward for hitting long range targets, pick up some "tannerite" binary exploding targets!! hella fun!!! get some while its legal!!!!! 13 charges at 100yrds feels like a kick to the chest
