Not as easy to find now a days as it seems like everyone wants a carbine. As for the ACOG there just plain isnt a better tactical carbine optic and i love mine.

I think there's a difference between rights and law, be it from God or government. Rights are created socially not religiously. If there was no one else around, rights would not have a place because you could do whatever you wanted (which is different than God's law). It's semantics but I understand where you're coming from.

It was thru a dude who was undergoing a tight spot, so it was about a 75% off regular price. So, I mention this for those looking for one of these at a better price - keep your eyes open for deals thru local paper listings, craigslist, postings on bulletin boards etc. They are out there, I don't mean the cheap chinese copies either. Do your homework.

i dont get it? the ballistic chart for measuring distance is in meters but the range finding capabilities measures a man chest in 19 inches. why not centimeters... i think they just want you to get confused
that range estimation on the reticle is total badass, you couldnt have said that better " 19 inches is about the width of a mans shoulders" awesome.

Did you install the Acog that far back because of preference? When installed on a flattop upper, its made to accommodate a flip up rear iron sight. Do you plan on adding a rear iron site? Suck to have no Iron sights if the scope breaks or you run out of batteries.
@dasupa666 The sights you see mounted more forward on the receiver with BUI behind them are red dot non magnified optics which have infinite amount of eye relief. The Acog is a 4 power optic which has an inch and half eye relief, so it needs to be mounted farther back, it is extremely heavy duty and uses no batteries. I do have a fixed front sight and a removable carry handle for the rear sight, which can be swapped out quickly with no tools.
@dasupa666 ... ACOG is a Tritium Powered + Fiber Optic powered scope that will never fail. It's bullet proof and rock solid. Made for both eyes open shooting... great target acquisition and very user friendly!!! Quite possibly the best optic for out to 500 yards.
@Mateo8109 I'm still on the hunt for optics....stuck between EOtech with magnifier for around $1100 or a triji for around $1700. its been a year and still can't make up my mind. Money is tight and I want to make the right decision. Don't have any friends with these optics so I have to base my decision on other people opinions. I've used Aimpoint red dots in the past and have never been happy with their performance.

I just picked up my Trijicon TA31FG from A1 Commerce and it is baddass!!! I mounted and zeroed it during lunch yesterday. I can't wait to try it out today!
TA31 and A4 model are the same for 20'' barrel. ta31 has doughnut ring and a4 is chevron. Today they have green and red color now. TA31G TA31rco.a4G i have 3 of them for sale and have one for myself too. Love it every second of it. Great review A+
