Why is there a lack of visible and audible protest from so called 'animal rights' groups, condemning Halal slaughtering in the UK? If these groups had TRUE conviction for animal welfare, why are they so spineless and cowardly where Halal slaughter is concerned? Maybe they care about animals but, hey when it comes to diversity and multiculturism, they simply don't care that much. I really thought that these groups were radical and thorough, challenging tradition, custom and convention?

If you wanted more humane treatment of animals get ready to pay atleast 5 dollars more for any dairy product or meat product. Think about it.... more time out means less (for example, chickens) production of eggs. More humane handling means much more time in *handling them nicely* (for example) a pig doesn't want to get back in his cage...how are we going to get him in there other than forcing him in there @.@

The method's to produce meat have changed Drastically in the past 50 years. it is now a sick depraved trade. in the old days animals were treated with some respect. Liking/Not Liking meat has nothing to do with it. The end does not justify the means. Animals are being born only to be massed produced and then severely abused; its disgusting. In the past animals were herded and created naturally and it was a natural give/take. Now we are all just taking and its creating imbalance. Eating animals IS natural, how they are being born/treated is not. Its not a PERSONAL thing, its a MORAL thing. Those furs on your backs are from those same mass produced animals.

I dont wear dead animals, but as for eating them WHY NOT !! I like the taste. if you dont like the taste dont eat them, its a personal thing.

BTW, Ive seen how animals are treated 1st hand as i did some work at a slaughterhouse (fitting an alarm system) not nice, but i still eat meat.
