Hey man thx for th help.. one question.. when i enter the address and HIT start navigation, the yellow arroe drives byitself.. it also says Similuation something what should i do???
do u need wifi for this app...???if not can any1 tell me nice free app navigation that requires no wifi cause u know i dont have wifi on all places.. plz help
can u comment on how fast it will drain the battery on an ipod touch using the unit without being plugged in to a power source? Why does it have a battery when it is using the power from the ipod touch?
If you start with a fully charged iPhone/iPod battery, it will last for about 3hrs with the screen on all the time. The battery inside of the module is only a memory back-up battery for storing satellite data.
How do you set up igps360 .

@clonetrooper5674 Just plug it in and install GPSSerial through Cydia.

@krikbestplayer34 In order to do real navigation, you will need a GPS receiver. You can get the iGPS360 from Orange Gadgets.

and this requires no wifi on ipod touch right???

@krikbestplayer34 Correct. The module receives the GPS signal from satellites and the maps are stored on the iPod.

Nice video. The re-caculate works fine on my 3GS. I'm thinking the app is not designed / tested for your set up.

Actually, this video was shot with the GPSSerial v1.1. The re-calculation of routes now works fine with GPSSerial v1.2 as well :-)
