@theantonioexperience In the real world, yes, but Neo's dominion over the matrix means that the laws of physics inside of it do not apply to him or anything he focuses on, if he so chooses.

Just as he stopped bullets in mid-air at the end of The Matrix, his control over inertia would mean that he could catch Trinity while flying at super-sonic speed and cause no physical harm to her.

I think this part and the assualt on the building si what hurt the film a little bit. I mena, the first half and the car chase was phenomenal. But, I thought the car chase could have gone at the end or a bigger action sequence to wrap up the film. Hey, I believe that sequels can be better than the originals.
