I still don't get the joke of Kanye's "spoiled L.A. girl" thing. Yeah, the end was totally unnecessary and seemed disjointed from the rest. And as good as this song was, what was Kanye thinking, adding the strings layer over the main verses too? Doesn't sound too robotic after that. This version has even replaced the album version in my collection.

there's more going on in the album version, The beat changes more and it has more sections, only here the hi hats are louder and have no distortion, that's why you can hear them better. The kick also has some distortion in the original, which it doesn't have here.
