it is a bit excessive. its like a giant disney land. i never see the point of checking in to these amazing 5 star hotels when youre on holiday because you dont want to spend the whole holiday at the fuckin hotel do you. its like he sais in the film 'the beach' that people travel thousands of miles to check in to somewhere that has all the comforts of home ''now you have to ask yourself........what is the point of that?!"
It's built on BORROWED money from the rest of the country. (credit) Trying to bank on people wanting to come there and live and do business. Well, that is NOT happening! People are not going there and they are in trouble to the tune of 80 billion dollars... they owe.
No city in the world, however, has developed as explosively as Dubai. As oil wealth flooded the United Arab Emirates, the emirate of Dubai on the Persian Gulf poured money into construction, much as Houston had done decades earlier.
the driving is crazy because there used to camels. cars are a whole new thing for them, made possible by America's dependency on foriegn oil!!!
American dollars being pumped into a desert in the middle of nowhere!
they should have not built this in bahamas they should built in like in egypt or somthing like right where the nile river is but they did a good job im so going there for the summer
the week i went there was THE best week ever. It is totally out of this world! Just totally amazing. It is breathtaking,I ALMOST FORGOT TO BREATHE! That week i felt like one of the luckiest people ALIVE! honestly honestly AMAZING!
my arse 20000 $ a night i went there ... it depends what room you stay in. the top floor of the hotel is 40000 $ a night when you go lower down the levels it gets cheaper and i mean alot cheaper !.
aah man oh man, where are you in this world? Dubai has captured most of the world's hearts and investors and you're still thinking about the safety of America? You need to look what's beyond the war that your country started. Iraq isn't the sole sponsor to the arabian desert. Dubai has changed the world's view of the Middle East. simply put it this way: NO PLACE LIKE IT! :)
i was there last summer and it was full of westerners. it's not like other parts of the middle east/ arabia - it's unique in many ways but one of them is that it's totally like a global village full of people from all corners of the earth. and it's one of the safest places, i'm female and got lost one night in at the karama souq area and although some areas of that section had many more males than females i felt totally safe and not scared at all. loved it.
A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand
hmm no whats weird - looks beautiful from the outside but not so great on the inside - their rooms are too boxy - seriously i've seen 4 star london hotels which look more beautiful
they made it looks more like a mosque i think - which is beautiful - but they put too much into the rooms. i think less is more - keep the rooms simple and beautiful seen as there is so many other beautiful things to see in the rest of the hotel...
it gonna be fun for you to stay there, but imagine that children in congo are dying from hunger every day!!! and you spend an easy life in an hotel which unites all imaginable superlatives in itsself!! very sarcastic!!
you shall rather pend your fuckin money on human aid for civil war victims!! bloody bastards, i hate your style of life!!
This hotel has captured a whale shark, after claiming that she was injured and are refusing to release her to the wild. Whale sharks cannot survive in captivity. Boycott this hotel.
the best things in life are always there. its a matter of getting it or getting there -at the same time, you should still be doing what you have to be doing. (responsibility)
Is this why we are paying such astronomical gas prices in the united states, to fund things such as this, Palm Island, and the World Island? Talk about excess to the max. How about the hungry in the world, the homeless. Let's start caring about those in need, and less about the exorbinately rich!
The Reason that you're paying such astronomical gas prices is because your country is filled with idiots who elected a dumbfuck to run it. (Twice!XD)
And if you're wondering where the money you paid for gas went, go look in Canada, Mexico and Venezuela, Cause that's where America imports it's oil from , not Dubai.
Iv been there and im going again its wonderful. Thumbs up if your staying here.

All these rich Arabs should be ashamed of themselves for their extremely luxurious lives and extreme wastage of money.
This Atlantis Hotel opened at more or less the same time when the poor and helpless Palestinian Arabs were mercilessly slaughtered in Gaza.
These rich Arabs had no money for the milk and butter of the poor Palestinian children.
