it is a bit excessive. its like a giant disney land. i never see the point of checking in to these amazing 5 star hotels when youre on holiday because you dont want to spend the whole holiday at the fuckin hotel do you. its like he sais in the film 'the beach' that people travel thousands of miles to check in to somewhere that has all the comforts of home ''now you have to ask yourself........what is the point of that?!"

my arse 20000 $ a night i went there ... it depends what room you stay in. the top floor of the hotel is 40000 $ a night when you go lower down the levels it gets cheaper and i mean alot cheaper !.

i was there last summer and it was full of westerners. it's not like other parts of the middle east/ arabia - it's unique in many ways but one of them is that it's totally like a global village full of people from all corners of the earth. and it's one of the safest places, i'm female and got lost one night in at the karama souq area and although some areas of that section had many more males than females i felt totally safe and not scared at all. loved it.

they made it looks more like a mosque i think - which is beautiful - but they put too much into the rooms. i think less is more - keep the rooms simple and beautiful seen as there is so many other beautiful things to see in the rest of the hotel...
