  • check my cover out on my channe please!!

  • I closed porn for this.

  • @NecronosisMind

Yeah, you and me both (:

  • Nick's vocal style works incredibly well with this song. I think it's his choir boy days coming back :) Great cover.

  • that was so beautiful

  • @pman90704 yeah you are, get off the page

  • written by? LOL

  • Brilliant :)

  • Imagine the songs that John Lennon and Nick Cave could have made together.

  • J'aime ! inconditionnelle de Nick Cave ! il sait faire - et a fait - tellement de choses -

en plus, il semble être un être humain, un VRAI -

  • no wonder why people think cigarettes are cool...

  • I do think this is the most beautiful version of this song. Nick Cave can deliver emotion on a level not many others can. No show, no unnecessary vocal hooks. Just Cave's imperfect, emotional singing.

    5/5

  • @BroodingPsycho - You are right, very beautiful version, but this Nick Cave... emotion always..

  • @BroodingPsycho

I wish I could make the internet pay you $50 for that comment

  • i love the jazzy drum sound of this version!

  • Not better than the orginal, but extremely awesome. Miss george's guitar more than anything else.

  • Better than the original!

  • I hate the beatles and everyone involved. Otherwise Nick Cave rules.

  • @karenchristine9 Hate them? Wow! They must have done something pretty bad to you! I take it you don't like their music either, right? Anyway I'm curious what causes you to actually hate them.

  • @karenchristine9 I can see that you really understand the history of rock and roll... (SARCASM)

  • @karenchristine9 how. just how. are you sick?

  • @karenchristine9 Well, congratulations. You have got your bit of fame by writing this "masterpiece" .You should be proud. Or not... Sure you must be a sad person. Let it be...

  • This version is funny:)

  • wonderful, a small piece of heaven in a modern way...without the whole arrangements of the Beatles that made this song look like Hieronymus Bosch paintings.

  • Superb...

  • It's all about tastes. I personally find this cover more accessible than the original.

  • Wonderful song, wonderful cover

  • Anyway that's the reason why I started listening to the Beatles. Before Nick they were for me a kind of old folk stuff nobody is listening to. Stupid me!

  • eww. i totally think that the one on across the universe is a lot better. i think it is sung with more heart. more emotion. and more thought. i love when the black lady like yells it " let it be yeah yeah"

  • Good cover of a great song that reminds me of the greatness of the original. Cave does a more original version of Pulp's Disco 2000. Totally makes it his own song.

  • Minimalistic and beautiful.

  • Sorry, no apostrophe in "folks" - Let it be!

  • Nick Cave said, "I am in competition with no-one." So please folk's let's not do all this comparison shit. Both artists bring something special of their own to the song - that's it! So please do as the song says and just "let it be" - Thank-you.

  • isnt this for the i am sam soundtrack

  • This is actually very good! I Like the arrangement

  • I like this cover.

  • no me gusta mucho, prefiero la version que hacen en across the universe..

  • much better than the original. great!!

  • agreed

    I prefer this one

  • You're a loony.

  • not better then Paul but still Great!

  • I can honestly say that Nick's version, to me, is delivered with more sincerity, intimacy and weight than the Beatles version.

  • I'd like to point out that The Beatles' released version was essentially castrated by Phil Spector. Check out the Naked version for a better idea of what it should've been. Even still, Cave's cover was worthwhile, as someone said.

Vastly different styles at work, and to deny the genius of either is to be close-minded or hard-at-hearing (and the latter is being polite, blaming the problem on some physical issue rather than on what almost surely would be a core character flaw!<Not int'd for you.

  • @2n2equals5 yes yu are right....but yu know often it is left to another artist to really find the essense or truth in a song or other work of art, but this by Cave is extraordinary in my opinion

  • WHEN & WHERE WAS THIS RECORDRD

  • beautiful *

  • Wonderful Nick Cave!!!!!!!!!

    I love his intimate interpretation!!!!

  • Nick Cave sings this with such clarity and evokes a deep sense of intimacy, both deeply loving and nostalgic.

  • Una rola con mucho sentimiento.

  • Mejor que la original?

    SORDOS

  • not better than the original in any way

  • Far better than the original, I also thought the Joan Baez version was better, cause the even though The Beatles wrote some really great songs the are still over-rated and kinda boring

  • In my opinion I feel they are not over rated. I feel they deserve their popularity because of the 216 songs they had 49 singles in the US alone. Also they made 19 albums and 15 of them made it #1 in the US alone. Therefore a great songwriting team does deserve all this popularity. **My Opinion**

  • WoW never heard this cover...

    i even prefer this version..

    it makes me quiet..

  • Comment removed

  • great cover!

    better than the original version

  • Good Job Nick Cave ! :)

    A worthwhile cover ...

  • Let ib be is not more a Beatles song, now it´s a Nick Cave´s song xD
