another Fischer's Tactical moves.... When Fischer sacrifice, the player in the other side of the board is already defeated...Bcoz Fischer can calculate from 1 to 10 moves farther. He is already laughing while the oponent still thingking...
Im wondering if Black could have avoided or staved off White's attack by sacrificing a knight on e5 after Re1. I'm thinking 1...Ndxe5 then 2.Nxe5 Nxe5 3.Rxe5 Bf6. Black is material down but he has destroyed the lynchpin of White's attack, gained time by attacking the rook, and created a nice bishop in the a1-h8 diagonal to support his eventual counter-attack on the queenside. Or am I completely wrong? Please respond.
good idea but white can play c3, blocking the bishop's diagonal. white also has the half-open e-file and a good bishop on the a8-h1 diagonal, thus putting pressure on black's pawns, so white stands slightly better
nice video. but can someone explain me why black shouldn´t take the bishop on f6? After pawn takes bishop, white´s pawn takes back and King to h8 it would be hard to mate him.

@4:02 if 1..gxB,
2. exf6 Kf8
3. Qh6+ Kd8
4. Qg7!
after black avoids mate by moving his queen,
Qg8+ and mopping up black's f and e pawns
will lead to either mate or a heavy material gain for white.
