Her movement and technique are absolutely unmatched. It's inspiring and moving to watch this dance. I think some of this is improv because she is able to interpret the lyrics so well. Some lyrical dances at this level incorporate improvisation. I've judged many competitions and while I usually have many comments to make, I'm almost speechless right now.

kaitlyn did try out for SYTYCD but got cut...shes my cousin so i know. SYTYCD is nothing like you would think of...they pick a bunch of dancers that will fit but then pick the final dancers to fit what they want them to look like. kaitlyn did make it to the very end but go cut., next time you watch it you will notice that no1 looks the same...they are blondes and reds and no one looks the same! shes trying next yr though...dont give up..I LOVE YOU KAITLYN!

She and Sarah McLachlan should meet. Kaitlyn is the perfect vision for her songs, even though she's only done two of them. For real, though, her pirouettes are so incredibly straight. And it's not the typical "step-prep, turn". She has so much control that she can turn like a top out of any position. Also, every solo I've seen has perfect choreography, in that it keeps moving the story. Forget being ON sytycd, she should just RUN sytycd. Or have her own show :P

she actually was changing spot on her pirouettes.. its a more advanced "competition trick" once you move past basic pirouettes.. she spot to the right first, then to the front, and becuase she is in CONTROL of her turns she can look upwards which im sure was a part of the choreography.. ^_^
