Again, the Mustang DOES NOT belong in this segment as all the compromises have surfaced and all its competition is simply better.

The Viper is not tuned, it does not have a turbo or super and the ACR upgrades are limited to downforce related additions while still maintaining a stock 600HP engine.The Viper and Corvette also handle pretty well for large engines without control.I don't hate the GT-R, I just like the Viper. The Super snake is a little cheaper than the GT500KR(KR is 80k vs. 40k for the regular GT500 and 30k for the Super Snake conversion.)but the viper which costs a little more, a C6 Corvette and the Nissan GT-R which costs considerably less can outperform it by large amounts.I don't understand what Carroll Shelby is thinking? He hated to work with heavy and large cars. This Mustang super snake Shelby but is it a true Shelby.

1. ZR-1 1/4 of a mile in 10.7 GT-R 1/4 of a mile in 10.9
GT-R drives its self because AWD, Launch Control, Paddle Shifters, Stability Control, and lots of other stuff.

The Mustang and Camaro are the same class. I love both the Mustang and Camaro, although I hate the people that constantly think CAMARO OWNS MUSTANG LOLOL, or MUSTANG OWNS CAMARO LOLOL. They're both great cars, even though Chevy fucked up with discontinuing the Camaro, and Ford fucked up with the IRS. They're fixing that for the 2010 model, the Camaro always beat the Mustangs numbers (except in sales) but I think the 2010 Mustang will give the 2010 Camaro a hell of a run for its money.

The GT-R, Corvette Z06, Dodge Viper, BMW M3, BMW M5, Cadillac CTS-V all offer better all around performance, refinement, technology, build quality than your live axled 1 demensional performance Mustang GT500KR. Again, the Mustang DOES NOT belong in this segment as all the compromises have surfaced and all its competition is simply better.

The Driver of the Viper was driving the hell off the track,misshifting and had the rev limiter on so that ACR Viper is capable of more.And a tuned GT-R? doesn't two turbochargers count as "tuned" even if it is out of the factory? Oh and on road and track I found out it will only get 520 not 550.Well the upcoming V-Spec will.If you're tuned GT-R is a different one, I don't think it will make a lap time because all of the lap holders are stock production vehicles.The ACR as is, is a stock car.

The Viper is not tuned, it does not have a turbo or super and the ACR upgrades are limited to downforce related additions while still maintaining a stock 600HP engine.The Viper and Corvette also handle pretty well for large engines without control.I don't hate the GT-R, I just like the Viper. It's just personal preference.

Already gave you my thoughts on it. The Super snake is a little cheaper than the GT500KR(KR is 80k vs. 40k for the regular GT500 and 30k for the Super Snake conversion.)but the viper which costs a little more, a C6 Corvette and the Nissan GT-R which costs considerably less can outperform it by large amounts.I don't understand what Carroll Shelby is thinking? He hated to work with heavy and large cars. This Mustang super snake Shelby but is it a true Shelby.

your right...caroll hated that...but you got to keep in mind that, ford wanted to carry on with the momentum that the old shelby's have...they are selling incredibly good at the auctions....and i guess they wanted to take advantage of that, carroll shelby has made a mark already, so i guess for him all that was left to it, was money and thats it...his to old to follow up in this project...

Good point. Ford did sell and market the old Shelbys way better than Shelby did and eventually Shelby ended the Shelby Mustang program in 1970 after seeing his cars weren't the racers they used to be.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administtrtion, Toyota recalled more vehicles in the than they sold in 2006. They recalled 2.38 million vehicles but only sold 2.26 million. This is the first time in history a manufacturer has recalled more vehicles than they sold. They essentially recalled every singe vehicle they made.

Give me a 6MT Corvette with the Z51 pkg and Ill send any Mustang home with its tail between its legs. The Mustang simply cant play here in this segment as its still a 1 demensional performance car. Ive read numererous about the ill handling traits of this car as all of them agreed the bast GT is a better handler.
