gizi, im pretty sure that hinge is there to peg the legs into place. so they dont slide out uncontolibly in car mode.

you used a 2x2 connected to a flat 1x1 and stud then take a flat 1x2 and you have a sliding function

The equality of 1 square must be left to have a function part B is one one side, Part A must have been glued on =)

It uses a 1x1 plate underneath a 2x1 flat tile. The tile has no pin in the center, so the stud on the 1x1 plate can slide back and forth.
