What I really like about this movie is that, whereas the first Starship Troopers movie was based on WW2 in a lot of ways the 2nd and 3rd were based on Korea and Vietnam respectively. And I ain't seen too many Korean War movies. 71 Into the Fire, Tae Guk Gi, Welcome to Dongmakgol, MASH and that's it. I ain't seen any of the old black-and-whites. Any suggestions?
terrible film, but it definetely had some outstanding moments. Robert Heinlein paid a lot of attention to military tradition in the book, and this soundtrack enforces that ancient spirit in my opinion.
This track obviously came from the soundtrack CD and not from the end title music of the DVD. There are a couple of fluffs by high trumpet which are covered over nicely in the CD because they drop the volume on the trumpet track when he fails to hit the high note cleanly at 1:18. They were less successful at covering the fluff at 1:46 but I still love the music. I'd like to think John Morgan is a friend since we have corresponded via the internet for many years and rushed out to buy the CD.
Very heroic...ok now it's time to go and join the mobile infantry...Let's save our future Friends!
