That unfortunate crash occured because of a dynamic rollover not because of the helicopter being overloaded. Someone needs to correct the title of this video.
Dynamic rollover because the port side landing gear of the Chinook got snagged on the safety barrier attached to the edge of the landing pad of the ship. Watch the video closely and read up on helicopter characteristics and aerodynamics. Are you a helicopter pilot? Because I am. If the pilot would have lowered the collective, they would not have rolled over into the ocean. It would have been a f^cked up landing and the helicopter would have been damaged but, not into the ocean.

@bionictrucker1 I am glad you commented on this, as I had lost the link to it. My information was incorrect. I have since had contact with the pilot and some of my friends who were there, and have gotten a better understanding of the day. My old information I had come to by people right after the incident and who were very emotional and may not have remembered events correct.
