I just saw them the day before yesterday, and that was a totally awesome gig in big part thanks to the versatility of Atilla.

Maniac just used to prance around and shriek, Atilla on the other hand does things with his voice that makes the whole Mayhem experience otherworldly and MUCH cooler imo.

No, I don't think so. They weren't in Portland either. No wonder they ran into visa trouble though. I reckon that two or three of the gyus are on some sort of nazi list of people not allowed in the US. Or that's what I thought of before I heard of them having any trouble..

If you looked at the screen they had up between the bands a message kept coming up saying something like "Due to circumstances beyond our control Marduk will not be playing tonight." That's why people kept booing between bands. I heard that they messed something up with their visas or something.
