RTD wrote Doctor Who and Torchwood simultaneously and yet the Doctor never visited Jack. It's very unlikely that the doctor would stop by this season, especially since Doctor Who is run by Moffat now. Why would Moffat let the doctor go to Torchwood when RTD never did? Plus, the doctor has other stuff to worry about right now.

I hope that everyone here in the US does a good job of portraying Torchwood similar to how they did in Cardiff.
