  • Wicked awesome! Looks amazing. Love the street running!

  • I like this! Street running is not something you see much on layouts...I have a small amount of it on mine...if you want to call a parking lot access road a "street" :-)

    myalberto1958

i ve sub your channel i'd be happy you too

  • WOW, nice video, Is this your layout or a club layout. Also is that a kato bn sd40-2?

  • @Kvr3005 - the layout is a group effort, there are 6-8 of us that have worked on this project plus we 'borrow' extra operators when we do shows (the layout is portable) - We're not a club as such but I guess kind of a collective. I think those loco's are a set of BLI SD40-2s that Neil in our group owned, but I think he has since sold them on.

  • very nice

  • Very cool! is the BN SD40-2 a BLI engine? also are those walthers cantilever crossings hooked up? you have some great videos I subbed

  • a pair of BN's with a SOO in the middle....soooo classic, this is the 3rd vid i've watched of urs and they keep gettin better...keep up the good work

  • This is absolutely fantastic! How were the streets and crossing mats constructed? I love this so much!

  • how did you get the rails into the streets did you cover them with concrete?

  • Check out my reply to the comments below, it's done with a Walthers product...

  • cool! i love street running!

  • Nice shot

  • Very nice, i am going 2 do a street running section on my layout. i think every 1 like or thinks it is neat

  • that is cool

is this you layout or a clubs?

    still 5 * + subscribed

  • Thanks for your comments, the layout is owned by a group of us, so I guess we're kind of a club although we don't call ourselves that. :-)

  • i still think is really good and inspirational

  • hwo do u make ur streets and also how do u put them in between the tracks?

  • The street running track is plain flextrack (Peco in our case) used with the street panels that Walthers made added. They make it nice and easy to add and are compatible with their own street system as well. The Walthers part number is 933-3140, out of stock at the moment but you might be able to get a pack by searching retailers. HTH!

Apologies as well to the person who's similar question I just deleted by accident - I think this is the answer and very sorry for the deletion!

  • ok cool! thanks a lot!
