I make this. However, I reduce the sugar to 1/2 cup and save the drained off peach juice. I heat up the peach juice adding water to make 1/2 cup if needed.
@snua86 Hi! Thanks so much for watching and writing in. I've never substituted in strawberries or kiwis in this particular recipe, but it should work. Depending on how sweet your fruit is, you may need to add more sugar. Hope you will like this. So easy to make and yummy!

Hi Bonnie! Mmmmm... yummy... fresh peaches are wonderful! I hope you will like this recipe. It's even better the next day after it has setup. Sadly, we rarely have any leftovers though, LOL. Have a most beautiful day! Hugs to you and yours! :-)
My sister used to make a peach cobbler, where she used "ONE" of everything.... 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk, 1 stick butter, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 lg. can peaches (not drained).... Stir all ingredients, except peaches into a baking dish into melted butter; then dump the can of peaches into the batter and stir only once or twice, around the edges. Bake 30 - 40 min. @ 375 - 400. It always turned out good!
Hi RonRay! LOL over the outtakes! :-) These videos are a lot of fun to do! Never a dull moment that's for sure! :-) Your sister's recipe sounded great! Nothing better than a warm cobbler... even better with a scoop of ice cream on top! LOL. :-) Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe! I'm getting soooo hungry.... Hugs to you and yours!

Good morning Orin! I just found your posts! Thank you so much for the very kind compliments! :-) Did the splenda work alright? I never thought about using Splenda, but now I want to give it a try! I just had a peach yogurt for breakfast. I love peaches as long as they are skinned. I'm usually strapped for time so I either eat out or buy frozen dinners. I'm about to leave the house and try this new restaurant that just opened up a few days ago downtown. Four other restaurants have opened and closed in this particular spot in the last 3 years. Hopefully this one will stay around for awhile. Keep making those great videos, I enjoy watching them.
I'm sorry to hear the new place might not make it. Maybe it's that particular spot... bad karma in that building or something? LOL over me being the chef. I'm not sure that would work because I mess up all the time. Hahahaha. Have a beautiful day Paul!
Yeah it's probably just a bad spot. If you're curious to see what it looks like just go to Google maps, type in: 501 sherman, coeur dalene, ID and click on "street view". At that point, you should see the "Barrel Room". It's right next to it on the corner = )
