is this the whistle that used to be on th A&WP 290 when it ran on the New Georgia railroad back in the early 90s it sounds very simular to what used to make me run down and shoot pictures of passing my Aunt and Uncles old place outside Atlanta late 80 early 90s I fell in love with 290 I miss that one and 750 as well
Unfortunately 4501 is not bein restored to service, due to lack of funds. However 630 will come out of the shop soon and 610 will go in the shop for 5 year inspection.
Well, TVRM has started restoration on it, they have removed the front, the boiler jacketing, and the piping. They want to have it up and running for it's 100th birthday in 2011. They don't plan on using it on the local, but they do plan on useing it on the trips over the C&C.

@jamb15767 its a Virginia and Southwestern 3-chime. #630 just wore it very recently as well.

@nicholasbreeden That is possible, but it'll most likely happen in late 2011, or sometime in 2012 since funds are hard to come by.
