Im a lil confused. Is Stargate Atlantis a TV show that started after the normal Stargate series ended or is it just a few eps or a movie or what? I just dont see why theres a show with similar people under a very slightly diff name.

@filmfreak491 : Stargate Atlantis is spin-off Stargate sg-1. it started at the beginning of season 8 of sg-1. If you watched sg-1 you can remember the episodes with doctor elizabeth weir. she was sent to antarctica to lead research about antient chair (which you can see in episodes lost city part 1 and 2). Stargate Atlantis begins when they find there Gate adress to Lost city of Atlantis. It normal tv series with 5 seasons. First three seasons was aired parallely with season 8, 9 a 10 of sg-1.

You know, Sam/Jack always made me question just what the majority of people think a relationship should be. and whether people can understand a character beyond their relationship with another person.

Doesn't anyone question why Jack doesn't just retire if he does love Sam? or vice versa, why Sam doesn't take a civilian job? I know it's a TV show but i can't see them having more than unresolved sexual tension. i sure as hell wouldn't want to wait 12 years for a 60+ year old spouse

I always felt they should used O'Neill in Unending, last ep of SG-1, instead of Landry so they could have explored Jack/Sam like they did with Daniel/Vala. And have a seen where one pleads with Teal'c to tell them after the time change.

I always enjoyed the Sam and Keller scenes in Season 4. These two characters really bonded in some very short scenes. It was nice.

LOL I love how random Sam's "Are you seeing anyone" is.

This scene really would have been good for continuity. The fantastic scene between Keller and Ronon seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth. And it was a truly awesome scene that should have been brought up more.

And just seeing two women talking about relationships on this show is pretty cool.

I LOVED this episode- "Trio". Especially because I love Keller and Sam. It was great watching an episode with them in it so much. And it's so nice to hear that Jewel got along really well with both David (brotherly) and Amanda. Their friendship in RL really showed in the ep.

Man, I can't believe they deleted this scene. It's so great. And all that work Jewel and Amanda had to do to tie that stupid rope? lol, that sucks!

I think the only real Sam/Jack moment is in SG-1 9 or 10... anyway, when she and Cam stay hidden in the cloaking field on some planet,and she's injured badly, and at one point she tells him her computer password, which is "fishing" ;)). Too bad they deleted this one though.

Eh, it just doesn't seem to fit any more. The whole 'Jack and Sam having a relationship off-camera'. It just feels like a poor way of keeping Jack in the show, even tho he's pretty much long gone. I much prefer the Carter/McKay banter, on Atlantis, and the Sam/Cam stuff on SG1, but that's just me :D

They did what they had already done on SG-1. On SG-1, they wanted to please everyone: Sam/Jack 'shippers, people who 'shipped Jack and Sam with different characters, people focused solely on the team dynamic, and people just adverse to 'shipping in general. But that just ends up pleasing no one.

Yes, sometimes they need to remove character development for time and to focus on the plot, but if they had really wanted it in they could have removed something else.

Ok, seriously, does nothing happen in Continuum?!?!? Im in the uk and it premieres on Tuesday but if nothing happens between them I am not sure I want to watch it. The Jack/Sam thing was the only storyline that needed concluding!!! We need to know for certain, this scene may be proof the writers have them in a relationship so why can' they reveal it in Continuum or and undeleted scene of Atlantis (where Jack could come and visit) or something!!! Well there's a little in it, but as far as we know the Jack and Sam thing has been concluded already in season 4 of Atlantis.

It's still the best movie ever! I mean as a fan you will love every second and as for Jack and Sam. I think it's time to give up waiting for the writers to give us something, cos it's probably never going to happen!
