I've had an easy star for years, I think I'll buy this one since it's rtf and is brushless and lipo.... I love my easy star but its annoying not having all the power of a brushless motor.
Just flew mine for the first time today. Ive never flown before. I did ok, The plane sustained a few bumps and crashes, but that's why I got it...to learn. I flew with deactivated ailerons as to not complicate my neophyte mind. Great plane, looking forward to another day of flight.
@MrRCflying Hey, I can't seem to get mine to roll too well, I have the ailerons on the the inner most control horn hole. Also how can land it without gliding for a long time? Thanks
Great flight .... :) and I LOVE the wind noise because it shows "REAL" conditions .... Great plane ... The FMS simulator is also a great tool for the plane as well .... great first plane large easy to see and the top mounted pusher motor is great ...all the best
Yes, I think they may do a 2.4GHz version now, but this was the 72MHz version. I actaully like the Dynam RXs. The TX is OK, but I use the RXs in a lot of planes with my Polk Hobby radio.
@tenrazo215 The Easystar is a great trainer plane! What a lot of people don't realize is that with whatever plane they get, they should get help from an experienced pilot as well
@MrRCflying there is no 'perfect starter plane' anymore. Now that you can download a FREE flight sim and get a usb controller for about $20...it is silly to risk a new plane of any kind without developing mental skills on a flight sim first. I spent about 20 hours VERY much enjoying flying and crashing on the flight sim and when I jumped on my DHS and even a Stryker! i did very well because of all the virtual practice I got. Old days of learn/trash real planes is not necessary anymore.
I am new to the hobby, and I've flown inverted fairly easy, must use up elevator. Have not sustained inverted flying for very long, only short spurts. Enjoy the videos, just subscribed!
@bassplace88 Thanks for subscribing. Usually inverted flight is no problem for me, I can fly almost as well inverted as I can right side up. But I think due to the shape of the wing on this plane, it did not have enough elevator to maintain level. That was full deflection on the elevator, and it was still decending.
how does it cope in inverted flihght?
olijay96 2 days ago
@olijay96 Not good. It is very stable, and has a lot of dihedrial, so it likes to stay upright.

I've found that my wings keep falling out, any suggestions to fix? velcro maybe? Also this thing catches the wind!
cbrewer79 1 month ago
@cbrewer79 I gled these ones in permanently. Yes it does bobble a little with the wind, but I have flown it in some pretty strong stuff.

hey can this rc will turn when u will use the rudder only?
wihout using the ailerons
licanto22 3 months ago
@licanto22 Althought I have not tried it rudder only, I think it will. The wings have enough dihedral, so I would think it would.

hey, does this plane come with a wheel kit so you can take off and land normally?
jaitchproductions 11 months ago
@jaitchproductions Yes, It does come with wheels. it kind of detracts from the looks of the plane though, and it hand launches well.
