  • @weedyak what the heck is that.

  • @Tossdart it means nice pigeons

  • Great video! I fould a baby pigeon on the roadway today. It is about 19 days old. Can I feed it bread and damp birdseeds until It can fly on its own. How long will you feed it the bread? I did that today.

  • Remember these are world class Racing Homing Pigeons. Free of disease. check this feral bird thoroughly for external parasites! If you have tame birds DO NOT PUT IT WITH THEM! Lice will show as 1.5 to 2mm worm like appearing things on underside of wings & will latch on to you from breast. A good delouser from pet store will be fine. Just rub it in avoiding eyes nose & mouth. Other than that it is good to give meds like in food video,$. Then off to feeding, follow vid until eats on own.

  • thanks for teaching me how to feed baby pigeons now i wana have a pair hehehe =) one question can i mix chickens with pigeons? or is it not a good idea to have both of them as pets?

  • Always let parents finish feeding until at minimum 32 days & 40 days is better. These birds I had to wean as I had a hen in cock loft on purpose as she caused problems homo-ing a hen I needed to breed as well as I needed her bred. If babies go on floor cocks will kill it so I took them okay. Question two answer is I wouldn't. These are not pets okay they are RACING HOMING PIGEONS! Chickens might make them sick.

  • lovely :)

  • They are beautiful, very nice dark checker tic eye and blue bar. I have a hand raised mosaic, she sits on my shoulder when I go in and feed them.

  • I can really see you love your birds. All the other pigeon people I've met I have not liked because they don't love their birds. They just seem to have them as commodities. I can't understand that. I care about each and everyone of mine and was starting to think I was the only one. I also like to play with my birds.

  • I feel sorry for all the pigeons from those owners you have mentioned. Though I don't like to generalise you are right a lot of people who have pigeons don't seem to see their birds as pets and it is sad.

I come from a family of homing pigeon breeders and racers I have to say that thankfully we are not like what you have mentioned and each bird if well cared for. But some people you meet you can tell they dont deserve to have such beautiful animals in their lives.

  • I don't see my birds as pets but friends, I am a racing enthusiast. I always try & describe what to me is good animal husbandry. However I'm not deluded, when my birds are tossed the reason they come home is they love home. They don't love being taken & let go. It is a rocky road we travel.
