Have you ever tried using bigger crash cymbals? I think for your style you might like them a little bit, especially for heavy parts of the chorus and things like that when you are rocking 8th notes on them etc.. I use an 18 inch and 19 inch A Customs.. Check it out
@KevinVsHero Haha, I completely agree man! This video is a year old now. Since then I've replaced all my cymbals except hi hats, as well as some new additions =]

@4everdrum Anything I ever play on drums is just a song I like, which I listen to on my iPod like anything. When I decide I want to learn to play a song, I just go and sit on my kit and throw my headphones on, because I usually already know how to play the song before attempting it :)
@idrum4you Yeah definitely! without having limits and ratios between the frequencies of each track, it will be extremely messy, and the different drums and cymbals would ring into each other. The bass drum for example. That click is created by giving it a very small frequency range in a certain area of the spectrum. That is how it has such a definite tone and stands out highly from the rest of the drums. Hope this helped =]
@DrummySpit haha ik all tht fun stuff, ive taken many audio production classes, I was just curios beause im in the market for some drum mics for a quick recording setup for my own home purpose and the ones I have now require equilization and some mic sets come pre eq'd. ty for the help =)
You can hear the base very well..thanks man that helps me to learn the song :)
