All i know is, I love having someone like Mayer around to play proper music, not talking about his sweet honey pop songs, but his ability to play (raw) blues, take hendrix' songs and make them work, that stuff.

All I know is that Mayer is an excellent guitarist with a ton of musicianship. All he is simply doing here is paying tribute to one of his influences. I don't understand why people are mad because of that, and to be honest it gets me pissed.
