  • saw the movie, i recomend it 2, great movie

  • Great video, music completely wrong and off topic (for my PERSONAL point o view)

    Nine Inch Nails

  • This battle in middle of vid is chaos!

European tactics in X century is much more advanced.

I have hope that this vid not present a real samurai tactics skills.

  • @DarthNemezis

The battle of Kawanakajima was a fierce battle that sustained heavy casualties.

Because both armies had been mutually encountered in the fog, a regular tactics was not able to be exercised.

It is a so-called meeting engagement.

  • @DarthNemezis yeah too bad....no Europeons kept your military traditions.

what do you guys practice now? European fencing hardly compares to our art.

  • @DarthNemezis did you eat paint as a child or something? firstly its a movie, secondly what the fuck do you think a hand to hand battle on the ground would look like, fucking chaos, unless you had a true bird's eye view of the battle you would have no idea whats going on tactically

secondly both sides used impressive tactical formations, but as both had only gained view of each other when they were 150 feet apart they had to stick with whatever formation they were in

  • @DarthNemezis the formations used in this battle were the rolling wheel formation and the crane formation, both formations that Miyamoto Musashi(if you dont know who he is then you should not consider yourself as someone who understands history) described in his military treatise Go Rin No Sho( the book of five rings) one of the most important military treatise ever written and easily comparable to Sun Tzu's the art of war. so please stop being an uneducated idiot.

  • @DarthNemezis i hope you're joking mate....

  • Takeda Shingen!!!!

  • Heaven and Earth was the first Japanese samurai epic battle movies I saw. It was awesome.

  • 0:27 nine inch nails :)

  • This battle is between Uesugi Kenshin and Takeda Shingen right?

  • Yes,That's right.

Fourth Battle of Kawanakajima in 1561.

  • Thanks boss. I think I was born a Japanese back in previous life, lol.

  • The battle scenes are from the Movie "Heaven and Earth". Most of the scenes are indeed between Kenshin and Shingen at the 4th battle of Kawanakajima. Kenshin also battles his brother and 2 of his retainers in the movie as well.

  • Oustanding! My favorite Daimyo., my favorite samurai movie, and good music! Well done!

  • Thank you very much.^_^

  • LINKIN PARKの「From the Inside」です。
