I am a great fan of this. I have now harnessed my central power to the degree where my wife was able to break a stick of Blackpool rock on my stomach last Tuesday. I am so hard now I will take on any man wielding a little stick of Blackpool rock, or any other novelty confectionery for that matter.
LOL at the karate guy. Other styles will always hate on Kateda, I fought on the streets of Indonesia and trained back in the UK, I don't understand these people on here, but I respect my teacher back in Indonesia. Kateda is not a martial art, these people obviously tried to make money out of it, it is more like tai chi, the development of central power through the human anatomy.
kateda was made by lionel henry self either the history of kateda stories. tagashi just a fiction character. i training kateda and no doubt it makes healthy also powerful. any test on our body that to make us have a good mentality and courage. but unfortunately about lionel's behaviour which is he's grand master it self.
I trained with Kateda 1984-86 in Essex under Mehdi. We heard rumours of some of the things which went on in London, but did not experience them directly. However, we were never told we could withstand anything or any attack. Kateda was to make our bodies strong and the basic conditioning techniques are absolutely sound and used in many Chinese arts (hitting an iron plate is a test, not typically a conditioning technique)
I went to two grand trainings in 1984 & 1985. Still feel the benefits of the discipline though remember even then there were a few rumblings about Lionel's behaviour. He was very aloof especially with non dan students. During the second grand training he seemed to spend the whole weekend in his personal tent with the girlfriend of one the dan masters. Bit weird.
Thank you for posting this, I was there, In fact I am in this video lined up at grand-training, Kateda also did many good things, as a kid it gave me direction and strength at a time when I needed it most, when my father was divorcing my mother. Anyone know what happened to Lional?
i don't really understand the direction of this film, but i like that the martial art, because right know i become a person who never give up in many problem in this live, i feel stronger from my body feeling,... and thank you for u.(KATEDA)
