Wow, this is amazing! I'm probably the biggest Dio fan in Bulgaria but I have never seen him on live- it's so sad! I love Rainbow, Sabbath and Dio band. This video is great, easy to tell it's from early Sabbath years- see how Dio hasn't gotten yet in his scene behaviour, but he still does it pretty well- playing with the audience. The most important thing is his voice, of course- see how it's much much louder than all the instrumental sound- this is never to be seen again on Earth...

@lostassasin I think it was taken in 1980 when the LP came out. I saw this tour. They toured with Blue Oyster Cult on the Black and Blue Tour. If not 1980 it can't be much older that 1981 I almost certain of that.The stage looks like the 1980 one but I could be wrong. Not sure where it was recorded though.

I saw Dio and Black Sabbath 1980 at the LA Coliseum. Heaven and Hell was the song they sang that had over 50 thousand mesmerized... I have never forgotten that show and I 'm sure anyone who experienced it never did either.. truly a magical moment in time. We will miss you Ronnie James Dio..
