  • @MrHORSEtheMAN Maybe. It still never would have been called if it had been in the pocket.

  • Someone create another vid titled "Thanks For Nothing Shawn Crable" for wasting roster space for 2 years with the Patriots.

  • @NorEEzta ummm. he hasn't actually been on the roster doofus

  • @metalseed9 You wanna get me on a technicality. You got that. But he still wasted space and yet, they brought him back and has totaled a whole .5 tackles! No matter how you slice it, he disappointed. He's healthy and shows no heart. Scouts need to evaluate with a stethoscope.

  • worst technique I've seen on a football player above the level of high school. Crable is lucky he didn't crunch his neck leading with his head like that. As a Buckeye, I can't wait until Michigan fires Rodriguez and gets better...it's more fun beating them when they are good. Whooping them 42 - 7, those memories fade by the end of the day.

  • i wish he could stay healthy and do this to mark dirty sanchez and peyton manning

  • and who has won the last 7 meetings? Ohio State

and who has lost more than they have won the last two seasons?

    Michigan

  • I won't even call him by his name after that he is forever known as LB #2.

  • Go Bucks Michigan stucks.

Thatswhy osu kicks their asses everytime

  • Crable knew he was going for Smith's head

  • I completely agree with the call. I just wish that they would have missed the call though. :(

  • Not an OSU fan. That call was unfortunate but still warranted. Crable made a stupid play that possibly caused his team to lose. It was unfortunate, but definately a dirty hit.

Michigan was like that the whole year.

  • I dont know that it was roughing the passer because he had JUST realeased the ball but definitely helmet to helmet

  • Michigan did this all the time that year. They always drove QBs into the ground. Dirty.

  • wow shut the fuck up michigan sucks and can never beat ohio state did you see the game this past week DUMBASSS it was 42 to 7 so stfu MICHIGAN SUCKS!

  • All of us at Massillon told you to go to Ohio State, Shawn.

  • as a football player u have to realize the situation and dont make a dumb decision, gotta play with ur heart and head both on the field

  • it cost his team the game you fucking idiot

  • For Michigan fans...that should've been roughing the passer also which didn't get called.

  • Even if it wasn't a head shot, Crable probably still would have ran into him, and Smith might have been out of bounds by that time...

  • It looked to me like Crable was trying to lean in with his shoulder. You could see that he was trying to put his head to the side but his angle caused his helmet to hit instead of the shoulderpad.

Either way I think it was a good call, but I don't think Crable was tryin to take a cheap shot.

  • i remember this. i was so pissed at crable because he is the one who gave osu the game. before this drive michigan looked unstopable but when osu got this first down after the penalty and later the touchdown, michigan was done

  • I'm a diehard Wolverine, and this was a good call. You just can't lead with your helmet, especially on the QB.

This game was ours until this play too. When this happened I said that's it, that's the tide changer.

  • wow an actuall michigan fan who calls it how it is, nice

  • We let Michigan stay close this whole game and they still couldn't win.

  • Go Bucks And He Went To Massillon Go Tigers

  • well in crable son

  • meat chicken had way more breaks than Ohio State,we should have won by more. We don't have Shawn Crable to thank. meat chicken has us to thank for making it look like a closer game by giving them TONS of breaks.

  • I'm surprised they even called that. They didn't call anyting else. The refs are the only reason michigan was in the game.

  • I'm surprised they even called that. They didn't call anything else on Michigan. The refs was the only thing that kept them in the game.

  • This is defintiely a penalty but the PI was even more obivous, the DB never looked back for the ball and just grabbed Manningham's hands- didn't give Mario a chance to make a catch.

  • Actually, he looked back just as he swatted at the ball. The only possible contact on that PI call was if the ball drove Jamario's hands down onto Manningham's when he knocked it away. The call was made on technique not what actually happened. Jamario simply looked back too late to get the right call.

  • Hah! I'll have to show this to a UM friend of mine. He is still convinced that he lead with his shoulder.

    Go Bucks!

  • Troy Smith could kick his ass!

  • Would somebody also point out to the UM fans that there was a 4th and 16 pass interference against Ohio State that lead to the touchdown that made this a close game. I think we got the call for looking at the UM receiver funny.

I haven't seen the replay...I was at the game. However, you know it was a bad call because they never replay the bad calls on the OSU scoreboard during a game.

The refs didn't cost you the game, the field didn't cost you the game. You got beat.

  • Exactly. Let's not forget the 3 turnovers we GAVE them.

  • Buckeyeforum, the scoreboard crew doesn't replay *any* controversial call. According to them, Big Ten rules prevent them from replaying any call that they feel is close. That's why you'll see stuff like when they start a replay and then cut it off when they notice a flag on the field, etc. I think the idea is that we won't do any damage to refs if we don't have video 'proof' that a call was wrong. Has nothing to do with whether or not it was a 'bad' call.

  • Sounds like a good story to me. I actually brought a small T.V. to the Michigan game this year thinking I might catch those replays. I figured that I could single handedly turn all 100,000 fans against the refs if need be.

Never actually pulled it out of my pocket. Game was too good without it.

  • I know the feeling. And like I said, that's the story I've heard. Of course, the Big Ten "rules" are also what prevent us from having signs at the basketball games, if memory serves me correctly. Of course, other school look the other way with some of these rules. But yeah, despite what most of our fans think, it's any call the scoreboard crew thinks is iffy, not just 'bad' ones. That's why you pretty much won't see any play with a flag.

  • Nah. Don't watch Michigan to win the Rose Bowl. I would never root for those idiots.
