  • How many magna owners can truthfully admit their car doesnt have some sort of dent or scratch in it hahahahhahaa

Magna, shoulda been called dent magnet or fagna.

  • @Steve211Ucdhihifvshi Hey at least they don't drive around thinking their VS pov-pack Commodore is a Clubsport.

  • @Steve211Ucdhihifvshi Though the Japanese have still designed a better car than what should have been called a 'Bommodore'....probably the car seen the most on the side of the road with its bonnet up and a radiator pissing out steam.

But people keep buying them because Daddy says it is an Aussie icon.

  • u know people talk bad bout front wheel drive magnas iv owned three each one has been an up grade and iv also had a vt S pack supercharged for real there is nothing better then a clean magna i now own a VRX AWD TW and its the best car iv owned and no other car can compare clean in and out drives like a champ i loive in the adelaide hills and i romp this maloo that i see every day and thats a 6 speed im tiptronic and i clean cars up with my MAGNA so to the haters suck it

  • like a fucking boss hahahah. i have 2003 TJ teach me how!

  • Fuck yeah!!!!!!!!!!! That's fucking crazy

  • could anyone answer me this, is he just got the handbrake locked on during this burnout?

  • @contricia Oh noez, sorry i dont live on youtube being a keyboard warrior. Wow, so much power. Alot of rage towards magnas, must of been smashed by a few in your 600cc mira. I have milk that comes bigger than that hunk of crap.

  • @contricia And you drive a 600cc piece of shit? Least a getz can do burnouts from the factory, you need soak your POS tyres in oil for a month to even lose traction.

  • fuck yes bitch

  • How is it awesome for a 'front wheel drive' burnout? It is an awesome burnout the only difference is the wheels are smoking on the front and not the back.

  • haha u gave me ideas now dammm u

  • Man I have a magna solara and it does them with no oil or any thing so fuck off u gronks

  • @contricia Actually mate that was a bit of water to help get started. The burnout was started in 2nd gear so I didn't want to load up the gearbox/diff to much. If you are as attentive as you think you are then you will notice that after I start spinning the wheels I move the car out of the water straight away.

  • shame, the Magna could have been an amazing car if it was only rear wheel drive. A car that size and front wheel drive. The V6 has power, the body looks fucking great and its well though out inside... then its front wheel drive. Its like shitting on a designer cake. Sure u can eat around it but man u wish that shit wasnt there.

  • @Paiste402 As an owner of one I agree with you there, however being front wheel drive it weighs considerably less than the commodores and falcons which has its advantages.

  • @AdamHenderson89

but the extra 100kg of weight or less is nothing to the overall feel of the car. Front wheel drive to me is purely for cost and easy of manufacturing. Thats all, if not then rear wheel drive would be powering all cars. And working on the damn things is a nightmare with the engine facing the wrong way, that makes servicing more expensive too. Its just for the factory to smash them out cheaper, still a shame.

  • @Paiste402 Please do explain how FWD detracts from it? I would really like to hear a worthwhile argument. And saying they are shit through corners isn't one.

  • @mikey380sx

easily. Yea it ruins the drive but also its over complicated and stressfull on the drive train to save on assembly costs. So you get 2 drive shafts over a single larger one, the CV joints need to drive the wheels and be able to swivel and turn the wheels, chewing them out (the classic CLICK CLICK CLICK of a FWD). No space under the bonnet for basic maintenance ie cylinders 2 4 and 6 are an arse to change the plugs on v6 fwd's.

  • @Paiste402 Thanks for not being an asshole in your reply. And you are right about maintenance. I did the plugs in my 380 a few months back and while it wasn't overly complicated, it is certainly more of a hassle than it needs to be. But, I still love my car

  • @mikey380sx

for sure I sit in a magna and look at it and think "jeez, why didnt these catch on?". But fastforward to this morning doing an auto fluid change on a 97 magna, i would have rather caved my head in with a hammer. Trans pan is facing the front of the car allowing all crap to enter the transmission when the pan is off, fluid pisses all over the gasket surface and had to remove bettery, intake and hoses to get to it! Yea lovely car and look and go great but damn!

  • @Paiste402 True, guessing your a mechanic by trade? A few of my mates are mechanics and I never hear the end of how stupid magna/380's are to service haha. I'll book mine into their shop for its timing belt just to annoy them a bit more

  • @mikey380sx

hahah well funny enough i am a Jazz student and i merely work on cars for myself and mates. Don't need a degree to know things and sadly there are alot of mechanics out there with papers that dont know a spark plug from a fuel injector! And yea dump the timing belt job on them! Worst thing you can do lol

  • @mikey380sx

also the balance of the car is ruined since the engine and transmission are at the front and the fuel tank is in the middle. Thats why they understeer, because all of the weight is right at the front wheels instead of being balanced. All the mounts and gaskets are harder to change (compare the ford i6 to a magna V6 over self maintenance, night and day). All of these are just to save a few hundred bucks in assembly yet screws people over in the long run.

  • @contricia

its not a diesel you fucking knob jockey! LOL

  • wow !

  • so how much was it to replace the gearbox

  • @contricia LOL diesel????

    Hahahaha your a dumbass.

  • Quite an awesome FWD burnout ....

  • @rapture18 wasnt very good cause there was oil or water on the ground making it burnout very easily

  • I can only feel sorry for the driveline of this thing.

  • @Spetsnazovets its a mitsi, it'll handel it

  • @digitel1011 I can't find my comment to which you are responding. Its been ages ago and I cant remember it either. What did I say there?

  • thats was fuckin shit really shocking maaaan

  • do you have an lsd? i think ive seen you on the magna forums!

  • No lsd in this one but i'll probably need one in the near future.

  • wooo! fantastic burnout. ur magna sounds sick with that exhaust. the good ol 6g74 still has some life in er.

  • Is that the standard exhaust system?? Sounds awesome. lol

  • nice skid mate

  • Oh really ! ! 2ND AY well thumbs up boys ! good job

  • lol you guys didn't need water you know

  • when you start a burnout in 2nd gear it's not a bad idea to use a bit of water...

  • damn i have a TR and its a piece of shit

  • lol fuck the road up xD

  • instead of backing off, find the next gear and make even shorter work of those tyres. Nice effort.

  • lol sounds madd
