The popping exhaust occurs as part of the engine tuning. The ECU continues to push fuel through the motor when you let off the gas to cool the motor down. Stock SRT4 run rich as hell, to avoid having lean motor problems.

You have no idea what you are talking about. With regular 93 octane pump gasoline, a stage 3 car puts out 310 hp and 325 lb-ft. Pump in 100 octane unleaded, and the engine pushes 355 hp and 365 lb-ft. Please, don't post if you don't know what you are saying.
depends on if youre running turbo toys or not. i have heard of some stage 3 guys in miami with a stage 3r +toys, truboost and emanage hitting 360 whp on 100octane.

It may not say it's a Neon on the car, but you can dress up a pile of shit...but in the end, it's still a pile of shit. (Talking about the interior and exterior, the motor that are in them are quite nice).

Actually there is nothing from mitsu on any of the newer model srts. Dodges deal with mitsu ran out back after the 3000gt and stealth stopped selling.
Like the guy above me said, nothing on the srt is from mitsu.

The engine is built of 83% american parts. The exhaust manifold and turbine housing, and the turbo itself are the only mitsubishi parts on the motor.
