Ha ha - just as I was thinking of 27 ways to make it my own, you basically said that. Love it. By the way, I really enjoy having the recipes in the description box. Nice update.
Kansas? haha howdy neighbor!! Could you do a wild game recipe? Maybe pheasant? I can cook deer 200 ways till Sunday, but I only know one way to do the pheasant my man gets every year. :p
Well I'm glad it looks much better than it sounds!! lol .. never heard of "dirty" rice! :D Kansas hey .. are you wearing red dorothy shoes to go with that apron? ;)
You've enlightened me. Now I know what the "chewy" little pieces of meat were in my favorite rice dish I had at a Chinese Restaurant when I was a kid thirty years ago: gizzards--LOL. Your recipe is simple and looks great with a good way to get in more veggies !!
@TheVittleVlog You might know it my a different name? It's the internal organs but people are most commonly used to it being an interchangeable word for tripe, which is the stomach from animals such as cattle, sheep, goats, pigs etc.
Love the recipe, I have made it for years, but never with "Old Bay" just tried that last night, it was awesome! Yep, very good! Thanks for the twist on an old recipe!!
You are welcome Rick! Have a great week end!

You have me wondering if our local butcher sells chook gizzards.
They have crocodile and camel steaks so I'm hopeful! I just won't tell hubby what I'm cooking ;-)
