the symmetry between these two songs are amazing love brand new i am so happy i am lucky enough to be from the same area as these gentleman, they craft beautiful poetry with excellent symbolism. very simple, great artwork.
I've always misheard the lyrics for I Will Play My Game Beneath the Spin Light... "If looks could really kill, then my profession would be static and we'd do this 'cause we can, not for the thrill. Collect calls to home to tell them that I realize that everyone who lives will someday die and I won't." A little more interesting that what it was supposed to be?
Brand New is such an underrated band..almost all "real" music nowanddays comes from the lesser known bands..
