  • Adbhutam.......! THE BEST song with the best Video.....!

  • I don't usually appreciate when someone sings a particular carnatic piece in any form other than in the traditional way, but this particular piece has been beautifully done, Great work!...

  • Keeping the original essence the song has been blended with a midas touch. Great work and thanks for sharing.

  • can someone tell me - which temple deity is shown here

  • Comment removed

  • The diety is Sriniwas Balaji / Vekateshwara from Tirupati, but this is not in Tirupati, but somewhere else

  • Her pronounciation of Kannada words need to improve. And she should try to catch the correct words used by the composer e.g.Magugala Manikyana is spelt as Madhukara Manikyana.

  • Graceful, great work of classical fusion in Bombay Jayashree's gifted voice.

  • Really agree. I was in tears hearing the rendering of this song. Great fusion keeping the percussions subtle bringing out the bhavam of the song. Great visuals too.

  • Thankyou very much My Lord for gifting and blessing our great nation and us with the most beautiful form of music Known as Carnatic and HIndustani.... No other music in the world will ever be able to give us this feeling.......

  • Beautiful and serene rendition of a Purandharadasa classic, along with the video of the deity. Thanks for posting this.

  • marvelous bhajan,,,,which takes to some where,,,,,,,,we can feel comfortable,,,which makes our mind state very calm and gives energy,,,,,,,

  • loving the fusion.

  • Ok, not bad!

MSS the great, no one can beat her voice!

  • Awesome! I am a fan of fusion music.

  • awesome. would be happy if some one could let me knw how to download dis

  • if u have any new version of real player, you will see a download this video option above this video

  • If you have a realplayer installed on your computer just mouse over the video and it will give you an option to download it :) hope this helps

  • The video does not befit this song. A more traditional version like that of M.S.Subhlaxmi would have been more appropriate as the video is kinda ritualistic. Some special effects with splendour may resonate well. But this is a good attempt and I really like the song. Thanks for your efforts.

  • Please Hear M.S.S's version of Jagadhodharana Song and rate this one. That is what you call divine.

  • its so wonderful.. beautiful.. i absolutely love it! thanks for posting such a wonderful song!

  • Awesome is jus not the word, its too good.

  • Superb......... How can I download this song

  • download realplayer and then wen u move ur cursor on this video it shows a link on the top in the right side. click on that link and u wil get the song in ur bulk.

  • hi,

do u have latest works of kirtans by bombay jayashriji.

  • This is a very good composition of Sri Purandara Dasaru - the only versatile part of Devaranamas composed by SriPurandara Dasaru and Sri Kanaka Dasaru - also very well known in the carnatic music circles as Dasara Padagalu is sung in their own twists and tunes by each artist. Unlike a strict composition when it comes to Sri Thiagarajar's kritis.

  • what a wonderful collection of bombay jayasris voice, sankarji.thanks a lot.

  • awesome...even when u r deep drowned by an universe of sin, this divine music will take you to the gates of heaven. thanks a lot for kamikotisankara. keep up the great work going.

  • Tumba Sahitya Tapppide. Hadisidalu Yeshode. Give me a break.

  • haudu ... saakastu sahityadalli tappide ... but a good attempt !

  • great work! Could you please post the other song from the album sung in Raag behag as well??

    Many thanks!

  • mesmerizing voice....

  • Excellent work Kamakoti Sankara ji

Jayashri ji has done a great job

  • Karnataka (Carnatic) Music founder, Sri Purandara Daasa's great composition is rendered in different way than norms set by great RajIyengar, MS and others. In CD the words are split irregularly to fit music. It may be OK if some would like to enjoy this way. But what strikes is no mention of composer Sri Purandara Daasa's name on the album's webpage. If what is seen is true, then one cannot believe the mean attitude of so-called popular musicians.

  • Kanbandu i agree with your thoughts. Purandara dasars name should have been included. I also dont agree with splitting of words. we all know that many indian languages including all S. Indian languges are very much linked with forms, just not sounds. so splitting will entirely change the effect of a kruthi. But I have one doubt or Q, every one says purandara dasa as founder of Karnatik music...but I have a different opinion.

  • Probably because of him the southern indian classical music got an organised form and a name...how come he be called as founder...like bharatham had a name called Sathir before it was called as bharatham. I tamil we have records of Pann sung in many different raagas even 2000 years before....????

  • Yes I agree there were many forms of music in all states and languages of India. But as some one told on youtube, apples were falling before Newton but he is called the founder of Gravitational theory. The Karnataka AKA Carnatic music of today is because of original and innovative works Sri Purandara Daasaru and his many followers over centuries.

  • @kanbandu I agree with above comments

  • Just enjoy the divinity in Jayasree 's voice with an unconditioned mind!

  • Do we have to take such a beautiful song and convert it into another FILMI modification.. Pleaassseeee.. there are enough people doing that...

  • I don't understand.... This is such a beautiful modified version... with a lot of nuances included...Why do we have to disregard all the innivations even if it is great?

  • Request you to post the name of the album.

    thanks

  • The album name is confluence of Elements ....

  • Thank you

  • I want Krishna and Yasodha for this song, not Venkateswara;s thirumanjanam. Could you please change it? Thanks very much.

  • will do it later this evening

  • Gracias
