  • can you make to recorder full screen as a display screen?

As you know PS3 has HDCP enabled, so I'm asking this question to know if I can capture with screen recorder.

  • great video. Has the intensity pro driver (3.9.4) given you any problems with Ubuntu, for example, lost sound / unable to edit or add user settings / won't let you power thee machine off? I have an intensity pro card using the latest 9.0 driver on my Ubuntu 11.04 64bit machine. I can view HDMI input successfully but the intensity pro driver has messed up permissions policies on my machine. Just wondering whether I should revert to Ubuntu 10.10 and use the 3.9.4 driver?

  • @flexcurve No, I have not had any problems with it so far. Not sure what the problem with the permissions are on your end. I simply installed the drivers and set up the correct input format and it worked. The only thing that troubles me is, that whenever I am done recording, I have to manually 'force quit' Media Express and reopen it. If you have enough space on your HDD, you could install an earlier version of Ubuntu and install the drivers and see if that works. Good luck!

  • What's the name of the song in the background playing? I like it a lot!

  • @Vevion

It's "Time" by "Hans Zimmer" from the movie Inception. All the sound tracks of the movie are AMAZING!

  • I noticed that when you stopped your recording media express locked up. Mine does this too (even in Windows). Have you found away to fix this. I've been searching for an answer for weeks now with no luck.

  • @learnitwithlion

Sorry, I have not been able to fix this and it is SOOOOO annoying!

If you find a solution, please let me know!

  • Thanks very much for this video! I knew that it was technically supported, but I am impressed that it's done this well.

I actually want to use an Intensity Pro to broadcast with Livestream or Justin.tv, and it appears to be supported on Windows with something like Procaster, but is it supported in Linux as well? I don't expect to have a desktop client, but being able to use the browser-based studio with Livestream would still be awesome.

Fedora 15 x86_64 with Adobe Flash 32-bit, if it matters.

  • @FullmetalWolfey

I will make another video soon with a walk trhough on how to install the drivers. Sorry for the late reply!

  • I have an xbox, is there any way to split the hdmi feed so that on player goes to one screen and the other goes to the other?

  • @cre8ive65

You mean you connect the Xbox to the BM and record and split the output to 2 screens? I suppose you could.

You just need 2 DVI/HDMI outputs on the computer that is recording and of course 2 screens. Am I understanding you right?

  • great video! are you able to fullscreen the video while streaming from the device? (not just playback)

  • @xig08B6

Well, you can have the HDMI output of the device to a second screen or you can have the software interface be fulscreen. Is that what you mean?
